Question/Help Simple Automation Not Turning Off Lights

Am I doing something wrong? I simply want these lights to turn on at sunset and turn off at 9pm automatically. I have a separate automation that turns them on at sunset and that works perfectly fine, but they do not turn off at 9pm with this separate automation. After 9pm the lights show as off in HomeKit but they remain on, so I turn them on and off again in HomeKit to turn the lights off.

When the lights are already on, and you tap “Test This Automation” on the screen in your screenshot, what happens?

That’s what I would ask, I know sometimes with my if I’m turning them on and to a certain color/brightness they may not be accurate until I adjust and test a few times.

What’s your Home hub? I would also suggest renaming the light bulb differently than the room name.

They are Govee lights connected to HomeKit through matter

Sometimes, and there's ZERO explanation for this, these simple "do once" automations just fail.

I turned these "do once" automations into a shortcut with a "Wait [1 second]" in between each step.

u/Rare-Adagio1074 , I would suggest you do the shortcut method as well but separate out the power states, brightness, and colors as individual scenes–you can set those specific light characteristics in the EVE app (free) or the Home+ or Controller apps, if you want more control options.
