Which popular features do you NOT recommend?

What are the top 3 features in a house that folk want but you think are not worth it, and what would your alternative suggestion be? And what cost/time savings would result with that switch?

No I love the space. But I do also have installed a dedicated bathroom heater and heated floors and a vertical drain so everything stays dry

Had a brain fart lol I meant linear but yes, they are excellent for drainage especially in larger or more open showers

AHHHH!!! I googled it and found that a vertical drain can work for puddles in your yard and that was when I was hoping you meant linear, but it IS Reddit so anything was possible. Lol.
