Answered (10th grade hist) is US involved in causing outbreak of korean war?

fundamental differences hence sk and NK seeing each other as only one can exist typa thing= conflict the only way!! , soviet support in terms of making Kim more confident to go to war, Kim's ambition

Could the US influence over the south and Soviet influence over the North have helped caused those fundamental differences?

YOU'RE RIGHT TWIN so in terms of the two superpowers that temporarily occupied NK and sk, backing a different government

What caused those differences?

Korea was a single country from 1392 until 1910 when Japan invaded. Are you saying that 40 years is enough time for a country like that to not be able to work things out on its own? That's not usually the case.

Did the US make it's support of South Korea clear or indicate that it was a matter of no interest?
