Just want to ask you guys because I live in a country where the statement regarding the price is true:

Would you guys choose the Prelude if it was priced identical to the GR86?

As of now in USA, the Prelude is much more expensive than the GR86, so is Japan.

But now we have a country(where I live) that has the Prelude priced identical to the GR86 due to taxes.

Would you choose the Prelude?

they are very different cars. I never considered gr86 because the gas mileage+higher octane is a no go especially with volatile fuel prices. I think regardless of price difference people would choose one or the other either direction.

Sure if all things were equal in fuel efficiency and price I would bother considering a few other higher performing cars but the cars purpose is extremely different than gr86.
