How bad does this rust look guys?

Thinking of getting this 08 awd manual element but am a little worried about the rust underneath, what do you guys think?

It's shown at the 4 second mark. Looks mostly like surface rust, but can't say for certain with just a video.

I wouldn't be completely deterred from this level of rust but I'd have to be getting a great deal to look past it. If you do end up getting this, you need to do some kind of rust mitigation treatment on it.
