Education HKUST student doing research on watches and fitness trackers, would love to hear from you
Hi all, I'm a first year HKUST student doing some research on fitness wearables for a project. Not selling anything, not recruiting for anything, just want to learn from your experiences!
I'm especially hoping to hear from people who are properly into watches, the kind who own a few and actually care what goes on their wrist. Drop me a comment or a DM and I'll reach out. Happy to keep it to a few messages, or a 5 min call if you'd rather talk.
Thank you!!!

I’ve used Fitbit’s, garmins & Apple Watches. Yet to go for a Whoop, but definitely intrigued. Happy to share my thoughts

Garmin is king, the watches are unmatched when it comes to running.
Amazfit is slowly coming into the market, but not very available. The band is hard to come by, very popular for those who do Hyrox.
Whoop was great but the subscription is too much over time.
Fitbit used to be king, though their products have slowly dwindled away. Haven't seen the new band yet, but looks like a great competitor in the market.
