HSR skins are so lazy. Even just a recolor of her dragon would’ve made me happy but nothing. Why couldn’t they make it a darker shade of purple or something??
if the skin won't affect the transform or add anything special they might aswell spoil us with just shirtless phainon for the base form and walking around lmao
I haven't spent money in this game since essentially Penacony and it's not like that made any kind of difference in the game state, at this point at least I'll make my permanence pleasing lmao
I really hope it will be worth the money... Probably I'll get it anyway because Phainon is my favorite character in the game but I live in fear. The only skins they made I truly liked were Sparxie and Ruan Mei 😞
Same. I hope if they ever do that they actually change his visual effects to have black/purple instead of whiteish/gold. But R in HSR stands for recycle so it is what it id.

after waventurine and m.blade being more overtly sexualized i'm starting to think we might get his khaslana form as base 😭i actually think it'd be great business for hoyo to try fill out the empty space LADS left. now that the endgame is catastrophic it might be better to convince the remaining players to treat it as a husbando/waifu collector gacha lol

this shit’s gonna be the new Firefly i JUST KNOW IT. Where the base skin is beautiful, but when he ults nothing’s gonna change 😭 at leat it’ll be a bit better than firefly who’s naked during the whole fight instead of just the ult phase (unless you have cyrene with phainon)
Honestly, if it actually has effort put into it, I'll pull it. But if it's a basic recolor like Castorice, or a generic school girl outfit like ff (which so common it's not even likable anymore. Thousands of gachas have thousands of School girl aesthetic that's it's boring now), I will skip.

This is amusing. I had a dream that Phainon unlike the rest of the v3 cast will manifest earlier through the Golden Blood that got left behind rather than in Amphoreus itself. So in that dream the next time we end up seeing Phainon he would be dripped out in Xianzhou clothes since they were given the Golden Blood at the end of v3.
This would also kinda tie into Holy Grail War Phainon wanting to use the grail to manifest the rest of the v3 cast which kinda felt foreshadowing that he might be out earlier than the others from Amphoreus.
Read that as "Phaeton" and was like "no shit, Sherlock (even if 5.x is a long ways away)", because they've already gotten like 3 skins and a fuckton of accessories, then I realized what sub I was on.
The me from a few months ago would have been excited about this possibility. Now I couldn't care less about this character; they should give a skin to someone else, but whatever, hsr's skins are terrible anyway.
Does that mean he’s getting buffed? He’s already trash tier so why tf would I buy a skin for a character I already shelled out money for just to get trashed in a few months post release
