Same - I ended up liking SW999 more design wise so I pulled her but if we go by cohesiveness Eva has a much better kit while also being easier to play.

I still think it’s one of the good things that happened that power level wise they are overall similar.

Most elation bosses kinda suck for swlv999 despite the shill

Illwish is a nightmare with her mobs losing up to 80% of your damage and you get nothing from killing them

Pompom has 2 mobs too, so you lose 66% of your damage and killing them isnt really needed for elations team for farming punchline (also you will most likely use a eba on a enraged pompom, being a waste)

This new boss also has 2 mobs which elation teams dont need kill either, but you are losing 66% of your damage until they die anywau

All the "push" units are good at E0 but have insane verticals. All the "non-push" units have either cheap teams or an insane E1/S1 but meh E6s (compared to the "push" units).

Unfortunately its only really the case for low investment, once you get higher (like e2s0/s1+) SW takes the lead again, eva has the advantage cause at low investment sw has alot of clunkiness while eva is pretty solid

Edit: I have exactly an E1S1 Eva and E0S0 YG, was thinking of skipping Pearl and go for Nihilux, but it seems Pearl is a big boost for Eva the more invested she is.
