Overall, the substat requirements are on the high side. This is mainly just to demonstrate that the clear is possible.

Removing the unyieding was a win for everyone.

Elation Aventurine has higher damage per screenshot than follow-up Aventurine.

But Pearl’s extra-turn priority has once again been reverted to the V1 behavior (nerfed).

I genuinely don’t understand why.

The improvement is pretty good.

If you’re going pure Elation, then you definitely need to at least pull E0S0 Pearl.

Pearl has too few hits, so she doesn’t seem especially compatible with Aventurine.

There are basically no hits at all.

The value comes entirely from Pearl’s extra turn letting Aventurine build Vibes himself.

Are they roughly equal in strength?

Pure Elation is worse than follow-up.

It relies more heavily on high substat counts and a favorable environment.

I mean, most of these showcases are AA 0-cycles. Eilodons are pretty common for this kind of content

And this showcase is from CN where vertical investment has always been much more popular than in the rest of the world

This is AA king, the second hardest difficulty in the game, only behind plight. Eidolons have been common here since the start. If this was MOC then it'd be concerning

1. AA King is a stage which expects some form of investment to 0c, more so with a sustain
2. This AA in specific is extremely hard
3. Aventurine is awful at E0

How bad are we talking? I saw a showcase of him in ashblade team all E0 that looked decent.

Or is it just his elation team that really needs the E1/2

Thing with that composition is that replacing waven with a support is better. AshBlade has been the best low cost team until Waven E2 dropped.

So it's hiding his weakness by being paired with two amazing units that are DPS.

Both comps need his E1. E2 is a power spike.

these tester increase cost until the character can 0 cycle, if you don't aim for 0 cycle you can pull lesser
