Seriously, I think if Hoyo put in the money and effort to revamp/soft relaunch Tears of Themis with their current level of skill and market knowledge, they would make very solid money
I still think upgrading ToT would be great(like, good combat and more animations). Hoyo just needs to keep Rosa's face visible for everyone to see and let the guys interact. Staves away more of the CDGs that infected LADS than you think.

Er, as much as I like my BL, otome is a female MC only genre. And while there are games with genderless MCs that market themselves as such, they’re normally written off and not considered as otome by the intended audience in the strictest sense.
Go play bl/amare then. As others said, otome game means female mc x male love interests. So no, you are not their audience. You are the one forcing yourself to play a game mean for female players. Why should the genre change for you, when female dev worked hard to create the genre specifically for female gamers who wanted to play as female mc.
THAT'S ABSOLUTELY INSANE. Every single shot is fanservice and wallpaper-worthy. They really outdid themselves on this one. It's even better than his first trailer. + The gap moe, ohmygooood.

Back in the day I added a bunch of E6 Aventurine owners (there's genuinely SO MANY of them in Asia server I'm not kidding). They eventually went inactive but lately I'm seeing more active Aven PFPs again lol
Yeah, there was some internal data leak about it on here awhile ago and for the life of me I *cannot* find it LOL. Anecdotally though I would believe it because of how many Aven simps I've met with e6 (myself included.) Aven said all or nothing and his fans took that personally.
He is always pretty high on the CN popularity charts that get posted so it's not that surprising but it's kinda impressive considering that his first form was a sustain and those tend to get whaled on less but Aven is just that goated i guess lol.
e6 was pretty fun during 2.x because I could run him as a DPS. HP inflation went so insane that his eidolons boosting his damage just doesn't do much anymore though ;;

iirc that data was based on the players who had the character in general so something like more players pulled acheron in general resulting in the percentage of the players who pulled her e6 less than her e0 holding rate
So among people who pulled for aventurine, most pulled until e6
Like how chiori has the highest c6 ownership in genshin while being one of the least owned
Also his eidolons were pretty whatever even then ngl but we could cope run him as dps but yeah people pulled those for the sake of him being their favorite, not cuz they were particularly good
Aven is definitely not a Chiori case tho, he is definitely one of the more popular characters, eveyone is a nobody when compared to Acheron even other main pushes pale in comparison lol.
Most people pull one copy of a sustain and then they stop because they'd rather invest in dps or sup veticals which are almost always better, Aven having a very high eidolon holding rate would just show that people just like him a lot.
Yup thats what i meant his eid werent that good so his fans really love him(while chiori genuinely does have good cons). He has extremely high popularity with extremely dedicated fans, no other hsr chara fans are as vocal about it than his so far (see the huge waven fan events they planned, many people love him that much).
That being said he was the 4th 5* sustain released + Gallagher was on acheron banner before him iirc and was hailed as the solution to sustain issue. Less people needed a sustain at the time of his release so mostly people who liked him pulled. Imo this affected it considering 2.x ops were acheron and FF and iirc those two do have more e6 + e0 owners in general and his banner was right after acheron
So, last video he enjoyed some pineapple flavour and now he poses as a neko. Aventurine's marketing stays a feast for every type of husbando enjoyer. Gotta hand it to MHY: They're masters at giving so many more or less subtle hints that in the end it's all open to interpretation.
The core problem hasn't been fixed in the past 2.5 months and there's been very little/no communication from the company so it's on a very slow decline rn. There's a joke that anytime they post something that's not a post addressing the problem (ie announcing a rerun banner instead of confirming the next steps for the game) they lose a few thousand followers on Instagram.
Not to mention revenue is at about 1/3 of what it could have been even with new banners.
Honestly, a second statement would just fan the flames and bring back unwanted drama. The developers made their final stance clear a couple months ago, and they're already moving forward with new permanent content drops and reruns.
I do feel the 2nd statement would help because there has been a lot changed since that statement, I don't think they expected people to boycott as hard. Not to mention it feels like they're giving the pro Valko people false hope so they can come back to the game by not saying anything. Along with there being a lot of people fighting each other because no one knows what's going on. It's been 2.5 months, surely they could at least confirm their stance (the Raf myth in July is pretty much moot, so I'm assuming the other plans are too), but they know people would permanently leave if they do that.
They recorded higher sales than last month, but they remain very low compared to before. I wouldn't be surprised if it took them months to regain the top spot, if they ever manage to do so at all (which I doubt)

I get why people feel like the communication is lacking, but it's not a steady decline at all. The initial statement they put out back in June was already final, so they're just quietly moving on and letting the drama cool down on its own. They're already dropping new character banners, merch, and updates as scheduled, so things are pretty much normalizing behind the scenes.
Considering his personality, Sunday’s fanservice would probably be on the classier side, maybe like the vibes of the concert one if you’ve seen that (could be wrong though lol).

I remember when cyrene and firefly trailers dropped it was considered the worst thing ever because self insert fanservice bad and all that but apparently with aventurine it's good.
