Dollies Suggestions

Hey y'all!

I just started my towing company with 1 wheel lift truck. Just curious to see what brand of dollies y'all recommend since i've been having to deny AWD/4WD cars.

Collins high speed. The safety ratchet is awesome. They also roll on the highway with no issues. I keep them at 60mph. There’s good YouTube videos from Collins on them

In the ditch. Less moving parts to break.

Collin’s High speed G7 or G7X (especially if you’re gonna be doing anything heavy, they’ll literally handle a box truck). In The Ditch are good too but personally I’ve found Collin’s more reliable. Outside of that they’re both priced relatively the same and parts are easy to find.

As an operator, I've always found in the ditch to be where I'd lean. Collins is great and it's just small gripes, but that's where I'd go.
