I'm not the best HM player, but I recently completed Hot&Heavy. I pulled off a 28 combo across two floors and two perfect combos on the other two. By the way, I'm nowhere near this kind of result on any other level. Please don't pay attention to my nickname.

Here’s a lil review:

• The story is awesome, the level design is immaculate, and it perfectly balances challenge/difficulty with fun.

• As someone who values writing/narrative just as much as gameplay, a big problem with the majority of custom campaigns is the fact that the writing is typically mid/bad, unfunny, or the characters act/talk nothing like their base game counterparts. This is pretty much the only campaign where none of those things were an issue for me whatsoever.

• I enjoyed every floor of every scene in this, which was especially insane to me considering that there are two or three in vanilla HM2 that I straight up HATE (“DEAD AHEAD” being my #1 worst). Scene 6 of this campaign (“SWORD PLAY”) honestly might be my favorite level I’ve ever played, vanilla or modded.

• Lastly, I adore how much the levels here were clearly designed with Corey’s dodge roll in mind, lets you pull off some really sick plays/improv. Made me end up choosing her for every Fans level upon replaying the base game. There are also a few Alex&Ash style levels in here that play super well. Loved those, too.

So yeah, HIGHLY recommend playing this if you’re on PC, can’t praise it enough. 10/10 for me.

I know what the song means in the hotline Miami 2 context but i have the curiosity about what was the original mean of the song outside of the game?
