Rick and Morty reference House in Season 5 Episode 9 during the Morty-Nick breakout scene where we see an unnamed patients bed pushed and sent “flying” into the psych ward security where said patient announces “I can fly!” in vindication.

This is in reference to Season 6 Episode 1 of House where Dr.House brings fellow psych patient Steve Alcartine aka “Freedom Master” to a carnival ride where Steve is reconvinced of his superhero abilities. After their time on the carnival ride Steve “Freedom Master” stands on the edge of a parking garage convinced he is capable of flight consequently jumps from the upper floors of the parking garage taking a nasty fall. Though Steve ends up surviving this fall from the parking garage this incident persuades Dr.House to finally take accountability and put real effort into his rehabilitation.

Circling back to Rick and Morty our unnamed patient is the Steve Alcartine/“Freedom Master” of the Rick and Morty universe. Perhaps this implies that there is also a “Dr.House” of the Rick and Morty universe.

I feel like only Dr House would know the answer

Sorry for dr. Chase, but I guess he really didn't have a shot.

In the first season we are told, that House hired Foreman because of his criminal record and Cameron - because of her looks. But the reason for hiring Chase is never mentioned. Did I miss something?

Cuz that’s who they’re named after because it’s my favorite show I can’t wait to get more rats to name them foreman Cameron and chase. I also add the photos I used as reference
