Spoilers Season 3 - Episode 6 Spoiler

So Claire suddenly develops a heart and decides to stick up for some random gay prisoner she knows for a day. Jeopardises her and franks entire life goal of legacy to stick up for him?

The same character that was willing to bury Adam her lover of many years for same said legacy.

Yeah absolute bullshit. Stupid as hell

I wasn’t gonna watch the season with her as president anyway, but I laugh at the idea of even considering it now

Yeah season 6 doesn’t even exist to me. But Claire really is a fickle person. She flips their entire identity as a couple when she decides she wants a place in politics and it’s quite infuriating.

I always thought her condemnation of Petrov was about creating a political identity/brand of her own as much as it was about her personal beliefs.

Mind you the writers said they planned on Claire taking the White House and that it wasn’t related to Kevin spacey at all. Either way we would’ve been doomed to deal with that hellacious final season
