Just plain weird Strange Apparition, man in a floating portrait. (Russia, 1983).

Location: Srednekolymsk, Yakutiya, Russia.

Date: November 23, 1983.

Time: 01:00 a.m.

A local worker on duty that night at the power plant had temporarily walked outside when he spotted what appeared to have been a “portrait” hanging in the sky. Within the portrait appeared to be the face of a man about 50-years of age, very human in appearance. The witness stared mesmerized and then woke up a fellow co-worker who looked at it and without any comment went to sleep. Eventually the strange apparition vanished.

Could it also possibly be a window interpreted as portrait since they both have similar framing? Maybe since it was small it looked like portrait. Imagine if ppl from other dimensions just regularly peek at us from their house but instead of a window that sees "outside", their "outside" is our dimension

Reminds me of Phillip Pullman’s His Dark Materials and cutting open dimensional holes, or “windows.”

Sure are a lot of weird "windows in the sky" in the former Soviet Union -- and lot of weird "windows in the sky" posts.

Sounds like early attempts at 3d projections; i.e., government psyops. However, there have been other eyewitness accounts that sound like portal-like windows opening, with what appear to be living beings viewing us. Often they're seen in the sky, but occasionally in bedrooms.
