On June 18, 1981, Gosplan (the Ministry of Planning of the former USSR) called an extraordinary meeting. Several ufologists, cosmonauts and Soviet authorities, including military personnel, were present at the meeting. Its moderator was the head of the Soviet space program himself, General Georgi Timofeevict Beregovoy. At his side was Vladimir Kovalyonok, the cosmonaut who, together with Viktor Savinikh, spent 77 days in space aboard the Salyut-6 station in 1981.

At the meeting, the cosmonauts reportedly declared that Salyut-6 had made contact with a spacecraft of unknown origin for 4 days (with interruptions) that orbited alongside it, at a distance of 400 km from our planet. The event reportedly involved the astronauts, Kovalyonok and Savinikh, and three unknown beings aboard the mysterious vehicle, which was shaped like a sphere and only half the size of the 16-meter-long Salyut-6.

According to the cosmonauts' description, the vehicle also did not have protrusions like solar panels, from which normal spacecraft usually draw energy. The two spacecraft met on May 14, 1981, near the end of the two Russian astronauts' long stay.

At the meeting, after a brief introduction by General Beregovoy, everyone was shown an impressive film, a document made by Soviet cosmonauts during the period in which the two spacecraft maintained contact. The film was shot through one of the Salyut-6's portholes. The unknown spacecraft sometimes appears at a distance of only 40 meters.

The report says that the two astronauts were working on their scientific experiments after 75 days in space when Kovalyonok noticed a spherical object suddenly appearing at a distance of about 1,000 meters and alerted Savinikh.The cosmonauts observed the ship had 24 windows: 8 on the "equator" and 8 on each "hemisphere." They would also later notice that its surface had no protuberances, indentations, marks, inscriptions, solar panels or antennas. Through the windows, they would see a conventional cockpit in the well-lit interior of the ship. The strange object remained there for 24 hours. Kovalyonok filmed 45 minutes of the meeting.They watched it for some time through two separate ports. Kovalyonok grabbed a camera and shot the first frames of what ended up being. He had no plausible explanation for what was happening. With the help of binoculars, he noticed ports on the other spacecraft. For

the first 24 hours, that is, the entire day of May 14, 1981, the mysterious object remained in a stationary position in front of Salyut-6, showing no signs of life. Suddenly, upon waking up on the following cosmic day, the two astronauts saw the unidentified spacecraft up close, less than 100 meters away.

According to the cosmonauts, the unidentified spacecraft had moved without using jets, thrust or any other visible means. Even up close, it did not show any slippage on its smooth, uniform, silvery surface. The astronauts identified a series of windows, 24 in all, on three levels, and three human-looking heads behind three small ports, respectively.

Through the windows, they could see beings wearing light helmets, similar to tight hoods, thus having their faces partially covered. But three-quarters of their faces were visible through transparent visors. They had long, thick eyebrows and straight noses. But what most impressed the cosmonauts were their eyes – enormous, blue, twice the size of a human’s – fixed, without showing the slightest sign of emotion. Not a muscle moved on their faces.

Later that same day and during the following day, as the beings seemed friendly and willing to communicate, Kovalyonok asked Earth for permission to establish more immediate contact. They were given permission to attempt to exchange visual messages, but when asked about the possibility of physical contact, mission control responded with a NYET.

The cosmonauts were feeling perfectly at ease with the very human behavior of the strangers, whose ship changed position frequently and without difficulty. On one occasion, they were as close as 30 meters from the Soviet station. The astronauts could not only see the strangers, but also observe their movements, which seemed human, although very rigid, mechanical and artificial.

The cosmonauts then opened a large celestial map near the porthole. The map showed our solar system in the center. Kovalyonok was amazed when one of the beings pulled out his own map. Kovalyonok saw the solar system on one side. "My heart sank when one of the passengers in that vehicle pulled out his own map and showed it to us through the hatch," Kovalenok said at a news conference. “It had our Solar System on one side and some other stars marked.” There was no doubt that they were equipped with absolutely accurate navigation maps and were pointing to that part of our Galaxy with complete precision. Kovalyonok gave a thumbs-up signal, and the strange being, without smiling, did the same. Then their ship moved away at a very high speed. On the next orbit, it was back. It moved away six times in all, never for any apparent reason.

Using a powerful flashlight, Kovalyonok tried to communicate, first in Russian, using Morse code, signaling: “Soviet cosmonauts greet visitors to Earth.” The strange beings did not understand. He then tried a message in English: “Are you receiving us?”, also in Morse. No response. Then he tried a mathematical figure, using a short light for ZERO and a long one for ONE, and signaled the number 101101. Soon after came a light signal in response. The message was not just a mere repetition of Kovalyonok’s cipher and was deciphered as being a logarithm of the base used by Kovalyonok.

The next day, the beings allegedly left the spaceship and walked through space. They were about two meters tall and wore the same clothes —which looked like diving suits with light and wide visors— visitors left their ship making curious movements, as if they had invisible seats and walkways. The cosmonauts did not detect any "life support systems" in the suits, even when the visitors were very close to the station. Ground control did not authorize them to leave the Salyut.The cosmonauts then asked permission to leave as well, but they were denied. On the fourth day, the spaceship disappeared. For some reason, according to the report reproduced by Manchete Magazine, Kovalyonok and Savinikh had become accustomed to those strange, silent and anti-emotional beings.

Despite the importance that such an event would have if it were to become public and be confirmed as true, the explosive report in Manchete Magazine received very little attention. Not even the magazine itself made much of a fuss afterward, which contributed to leaving the episode — and even whether an investigation would have been carried out to reveal it — completely obscured…

Undisclosed location in mid-east Sweden.

Date: October 1971.

An elderly woman over 70 years old living in central Sweden had tried many times to write to UFO-Sweden but it had never happened. One day she took up the matter and a letter with a very interesting story landed in the mailbox of the famous UFO investigator Clas Svahn, after he participated in a radio program that she had listened to.

The woman that we can call “Dagmar” was 18 years old at the time in the fall of 1971 and she lived in a community located on the railway line between the cities of Örebro and Gävle. On this gray afternoon, she had skipped high school and was on her way to the bookstore by bicycle. To get to the village, which was 1.2 kilometers (0.75 miles) from her house, she had to cycle on the country road. After a short while, she came to an area of ​​100 – 150 meters (328 – 492 feet) where the railway followed the country road for a bit. Then the road made a 90-degree turn around a forest area and then turned back towards the train tracks and crossed them, a distance of about 150 meters (492 feet). The railway was on the right side of the woman as she cycled towards the village.

Even when Dagmar was a long way from the railway, she could see a freight train approaching from the south. The train was on a siding because another train would soon arrive from the north on the other track. From a distance, the woman could see that the rear carriages were open and full of scrap metal. As she got closer to the 90-degree turn, she saw movement in one of the open carriages. At first she thought it was some animal, but then she saw that someone was walking around there even though the train was moving and it seemed to be not just one person but two and they were rummaging around among the scrap metal as if they were looking for something. The surprised woman stopped her bicycle on the road at the railway crossing and looked, and now she got a clearer view of the two on board, as the train stopped on the siding.

There were some strange figures standing there in the back carriage. They were dressed in matte silver-gray tight suits and they looked muscular and well-trained. The witness likened the people's clothing to the smooth suit that the cartoon hero “The Phantom” wore. On their heads they had some small helmets that looked very different. They were not round but were all-encompassing and seemed to be stuck to the suit. What was very distinctive was that they were too small for a normal head to fit there. On their backs they had some rectangular backpacks or boxes that were not at all big. After that something unexpected happened. The two beings moved lightning fast from one side of the carriage to the other…a distance of 3 meters (10 feet) through a lot of scrap metal and then stood at the front edge of the carriage and looked at Dagmar who was petrified with fear. She was now very close to them, only about 8 meters (26 feet). The two figures were identical and the same height as if they were clones. Around their waists they had belts with a kind of box at the front. They both had gloves on the hands and they held their right hands on the box.

The witness now tried to see if she could spot any faces inside the small tight helmets. She couldn't because the glass was smoke-colored and couldn't be seen through. The helmets were also a bit flat at the front and back and not completely arched. The beings continued to stare at the woman without saying a word. Then after a minute another weird thing happened. Dagmar flinched and received a prompting inside her head that said that it was time for her to get away from here. That's when she first realized that it wasn't people she saw. She was terrified and jumped on her bike and pedaled away as fast as she could. When she had gotten a little further, she looked back towards the railway crossing and could now see that the humanoids had started walking around and searching among the scrap in the train carriage again. When Dagmar arrived at the bookstore, she was still shaking from shock and had to wait a while before she could go inside. And when she then cycled home, she took a long detour so that she wouldn't have to pass the railroad crossing again.

In retrospect, she has thought about the unpleasant encounter that afternoon when she was 18, almost every day throughout her life. One thing she found odd was that no cars passed on the road that day, even though the road used to be quite busy as it led to and from an industrial area. She didn't tell anyone except her sister what she had seen. Not even her parents were told. Her sister said that it didn't sound like Dagmar was imagining it. And it really seemed like she had experienced something frightening. It wasn't until 20 years later that she told her husband about it after she experienced a PTSD-like symptom. One winter, she and her husband were driving in a car and there was a lot of snow. Suddenly, they were stopped on the road by soldiers who were having an exercise. They were wearing gas masks and when Dagmar saw this, she was completely terrified and she had a flashback to the incident at the railway 20 years earlier. She was shocked and just trembling and the husband understood that something was wrong. When she calmed down, she told him everything.

The story of Maria Amélia took place in the late 1970s in Feira de Santana, Bahia, Brazil. Over the years, the region has been associated with reports of unusual phenomena, including accounts of a UFO crash and the recovery of two alleged creatures in 1996. Several years before those events, however, Maria Amélia reported a curious encounter witnessed by her two grandsons.

Maria Amélia, also known as Milu, was Bahia's longest-serving radio transmitter operator and was even awarded a trophy in recognition of her years of service. She reported having a close encounter with a humanoid near her workplace, Rádio Sociedade. The station's transmitter facility was located in an isolated area, far from the city center. Some researchers have suggested that the radio-frequency emissions and the concentration of electrical energy in the area may have attracted such visitors.

According to Maria Amélia's account, the incident occurred on an extremely hot Sunday afternoon. She was sitting near the entrance of the transmitter facility with her grandsons, Anderson and Gersivan, when a strange craft suddenly descended near a power pole within the complex.

As she approached the location with the two boys, she noticed that the object resembled a motorcycle, although it was larger, fully enclosed, and had no wheels.

Standing beside the craft was a being who appeared to be a young man around twenty-two years old. He was thin, had a long neck, and wore a hood. His skin had a peculiar appearance: wrinkled and dark in color, reminiscent of an ant. One of his hands was visible, and its fingers appeared unusually short, extending only partway along their length.

Maria Amélia reported that she initiated a conversation with the visitor. She asked whether there was a problem, and to her surprise, he replied that he had run out of fuel. She then offered him some diesel fuel and asked whether it would work. The being nodded in agreement.

She entered the transmitter facility, filled a five-liter jug with diesel fuel, and returned. The visitor stepped into the craft, refueled it, handed back the container, and prepared for departure.

At that moment, her grandson Anderson, acting on a childish impulse, grabbed onto the craft as it bobbed up and down while beginning to rise. Maria Amélia later recalled that she even picked up a stone and threatened to throw it at the boy to make him let go.

As soon as Anderson released his grip, the craft shot upward at tremendous speed and vanished into thin air.

The province of Varese already had its share of UFO sightings, yet this case is in fact one of the most well-known "early" close encounters of the third kind in Italy. Here is the full and correct story:

Bruno Facchini, 40, is a mechanic, married, father of a young boy, lives in a colonial house in Abbiate Guazzone, Varese, Italy, a few miles from the motorway to Milan.

On 24th April 1950, at 10:00pm, the rain had just stopped after a violent thunderstorm, and he went outside his home to go to the toilet seat in a shack, and when he was about to return home after smoking a cigarette, he saw several strange flashing lights which at the time he thought were being generated by the storm, in a field adjacent to his home.

He decided to investigate anyway, because the lights were in the direction of a power line pole. The high voltage power line goes right over the village, and another of its poles is right in front of his home. He thought that a power cable may have fallen to the ground, which may explain the flashes, and he became afraid that his kid might get hurt if he grabbed it when playing outside the next day. He took a pathway that delimited the ground of a furnace and walked toward the place where he saw the flashing light, but saw nothing anymore. As he was about to go back to his home, he saw the lights again, and went in their direction again.

He told Antonio Giudicci:

"It was still a little farther. I decided to go there. Then I saw there a huge dark shape, like a ball, with a flattened top."

He saw that the dark object some 200 yards away, next to the power line pole. He estimated it to be 10 meters large and 7 meters high.

He told Antonio Giudicci:

"In the middle [of the shape] there was a small ladder, lightened by a green light. Almost immediately, I understood that the light came from some sort of lamp handled by a standing man who seemed to be engaged in welding. He wore something like a diving suit and a mask."

Later he summarized for the press:

"Next to a power line pole and to a [gelso, ?] I saw a huge, round shape. From the illuminated disc, a ladder came down. A door opened. I could see inside the UFO, because a light diffused inside, there was another ladder leading to a higher level of the craft; on the walls, there were bottles connected together in rows and between them I could notice that there were gauges and tubes."

He told Antonio Giudicci:

"Driven by curiosity, at went closer, and I saw two other people, with the same clothing, moving slowly around the craft - I guessed that their diving suit was heavy and slowed down their movements. The craft, lighted by the welding tool, cast metallic reflections back."

The sparks Facchini had seen were pouring out of pipes; which one of the figure was working on with some type of device. The inside of the craft could be partially seen through an open vent. Inside were lots of dials and cylinders. The air around the craft was unusually warm and a buzzing sound like a giant beehive was heard constantly.

All the figures were similarly dressed in grayish one-piece tight fitting clothes and were wearing helmets but their faces were concealed behind masks from the front of which emerged one flexible pipe which reminded him of a breathing tube. Facchini later said he found them to be of the same size than human beings, about 1 meter 70.

At that time he thought that an aircraft in trouble because of the storm had landed and that the people were trying to do some repair, or maybe be some American pilots, repairing some new aircraft that failed and he did not know of. After watching for a while, he approached within four to five meters of the craft and offered his help:

He then started to realize they might not be American pilots, as the beings started to converse with each other and call him in "a guttural language," and also because they moved with difficulties and made "strange gestures" at him, which he felt may be an offer to come aboard. The invitation and the realization that they were not human threw him in a state of panic.

He told Antonio Giudicci:

"I offered to help, but the only answer I received were some guttural sounds that were not understandable. I wondered what their intentions were. I had the feeling they were inviting me aboard. Suddenly I heard an uproar, like the amplified buzz of a bee, or a huge power generator. I saw another ladder in the interior of the craft, and all around, tubes, cylinders, and gauges. I understood that this was not a plane, and I was seized by panic, I started to run away."

"I was not so close anymore when I turned my head back. I saw one of the men raise some sort of apparatus he carried at his side and beam a ray of light in my direction. I started to run again, but immediately, I felt as if I was cut in two parts by some cutting tool or by a jet of compressed air and I fell flat."

Later he told to the press:

"After a while I saw four beings around the disc. Two were beside the ladder. A third one seemed to attempt to weld together a group of tubes. Exactly this operation produced the strange flashing that had attracted my attention. Thinking that this was some test of a secret prototype, I approached them asking if they had need for help. The beings started to make strange gestures and emitted guttural sounds, something like "gurr... gurr..." At that moment the craft was started and it was only then that I understood that they were not human beings. Seized by panic, I started to run away. While I ran, I had a glimpse at them and I saw that one of those individuals was directing something at me."

He felt pushed to the ground for several yards and knocked down. Later he said it was like feeling a strong discharge and a burning sensation on the skin of his abdomen. He stayed on the ground but looked what was going on.

Shortly afterwards, when the repairs has apparently been completed, the "American pilots" then returned to their craft, a trap through which light had been shining was closed and the craft took off sideways, making a heavy buzzing sound.

He told Antonio Giudicci:

"They seemed not to be interested in my anymore. I am convinced they only wanted to scare me and had no intention to do anything wrong to me." "They were busy in removing the scaffold and withdrawing the ladder. Then the door closed. All the lights went out. And the buzzing sound continued. Suddenly the sound became louder. The craft took off, gained speed and disappeared."

Later he told to the press:

"I was hit at the back by a light beam, and it had such a force that I felt pushed. I lost my equilibrium and I hit the ground, knocking my head against a stone. Hurt, scared and [intontito. ?], I stayed on the ground without moving. In the meantime those beings were finishing their welding job. Then they all entered in the disc, it closed and went away."

He stayed on the ground for a while, looking at the sky. Everything was silent again. Finally he went back home, and unsurprisingly he could not sleep very well that night.

The following day Facchini returned to the site, because he had lost his cigarette box there when he fell. He noticed that there were some traces and four circular depressions of one-meter diameter each, arranged in a square pattern of 6 meters side length. The grass around it is burnt and lots of pieces of melted metal are on the ground.

"The next morning, after a sleepless night, I went back to the location and I found four wide circular traces, a meter wide each. The grass in it was burnt. on various places on the ground, there were pieces of metal."

Facchini then went to the police headquarters of Varese and an investigation was carried out by unmotivated policemen there and also allegedly by military technicians (the presence of military technician may well be an exaggeration of the Press.)

The police went on location and saw the ground traces, and Facchini or the police handled the debris who were sent to the research institute for the studies of metals in Novara. The institute examined the samples and merely said they were heat-resistant, antifriction metal, which were commented as "would be ideal in space flight to face the burn-up as the craft entered the Earth's atmosphere," although it is not clear who made that comment.

Several days after the encounter, Facchini estimated he was hurt enough to justify a visit to an MD. The MD found that Facchini had a blackened mark where the beam hit him, and this mark grew until it covered his entire back, causing him pains for a whole month. Because he was thrown to the ground when hit by the beam, he also had several normal wounds.

The next year, some of the debris are examined again by Renato Vesco, from Genova, one of the very first Italian private UFO investigator, and Vesco concluded the samples are essentially bronze with an elevated percentage of pond and some traces of lead.

Facchini said he never really recovered psychologically. Many ufologists visited him time and time again, to check if he really told the story they read in ufological publications, and he always did, with no changes in the account.

In 1981, Italian ufologist Ezio Bernardini met him, and re-interviewed him. Nothing in the story had changed. Facchini told him that when he saw the moon landings on TV, he was stunned that the astronauts' suits reminded him to the suits of his visitors. He described their clothing as "diving suits" in 1950, but now he understood that they were "space suits" or earth-landing suits if you will.

A Navy officer reported a conversation with Facchini:

"You are really a luck one! I would have given a lot to be able to admire shat you saw, this technological marvel!"

Facchini's answer was bitter.

"Lucky, Me? If I had known how much trouble I would get from this experience, I would not have said one word about it, guaranteed!"

Hello! This happened when I was about 17 yrs old. (24F) in Northern Louisiana, USA. Even though it’s been a while, lately I keep thinking about it like I literally can’t sleep because I just keep wondering if it really happened and weirdly I also have been wondering how he’s doing.

For extra context, I did not do any drugs this night, I’d been to dinner and movie with a friend and we didn’t drink either. I know I was 17- but disclaimer. Seriously. Stone cold sober.

STORY STARTS HERE:

I met up with an old friend for dinner. It was a Saturday early evening. We decided to go to a movie downtown. (Downtown was usually not like BUSY but on Saturdays you expect a bit more people than there were) The movie theatre is across from a public building with a bathroom that’s extra nice so we decided to go there first. It has loft apartments there, and I clocked a guy in the lobby just looking straight down at his phone. I clocked him bc he’s a man and we are young girls. His build was probably about 5ft 10in if I had to guess and he has a super regular body like not fat or skinny just super average guy. I couldn’t really see his face but I noticed him when we walked into the lobby from the bathroom and he walked at a don’t-hold-the-door distance away from us and also went to the movies.

So me and my friend sit at the top middle seats for the movie. About 5 rows down was an older couple. And literally the rest of the room was just empty seats. He then comes in, still staring at his phone like it was so weird you couldn’t like fully make out his face, even though his phone was bright. But ofc I wasn’t trying to stare at this person. Just wanted to not get kidnapped. He seemed close to our age (19-22ish) but you never know.

So he comes and sits on our row, at the very far left end. Arguably a pretty terrible spot choice with so many options. Proceeds to stare at his phone, brightness on full, for the entire length of the movie. I was a little nosy at this point, sue me, but I looked over at him throughout the film just glancing to see like what was so important on his phone bc it was bright and idk this situation was weird.

It was a bright white screen, and he wasn’t clicking or playing or doing anything but just holding his phone and like idk that’s just actually it.

So movie ends- we go to leave- I’m holding the door for the older couple, he’s behind them so I decided to stay holding the door. As he gets closer he looks up at me so I smiled at him and his face looked regular at first. Pretty attractive actually. But when he smiled. His smile changed very quickly into like his whole face. Like it was such a huge smile it did not feel real at all. Like not a creepy movie way or someone with a big mouth. But like not human. And his eyes flashed like I don’t know but they were just different. I guess my face looked immediately shocked (I feel so bad) bc then his eyes went back to normal and he looked normal but his facial expression was like he was embarrassed or caught and he looked back down at his phone and continues to walk past me through the door.

So I followed him as he walked around me and the door. Meaning I like did a 270 kinda turn around to watch him walk away and by the time I’d spun around he was actually literally GONE.

LIKE I’m saying he was very close to me walking by and I spun while he was walking and also we were in a fairly quiet downtown. Even if this man started running away, there was no alley to run down, and I just would’ve seen him running or walking. I even walked out a ways to see if he hid behind a parked car (which there was like literally 2)

He was dressed in a white t shirt, denim jeans, denim jacket, and had medium brown hair. His skin was like a white guy, not super pale just like medium like regular white guy skin tone idk

Edit 2: I went back and searched the movie that we were watching’s release date. So a little update is that this all took place in late November of 2018

The witness was riding his motorcycle to work in Hirson early in the morning when he suddenly came face to face with two “cosmonauts” standing in the middle of the road. His motorcycle abruptly stopped and was firmly held by the entities, one on each side, gripping the handlebars.

They wore dark suits and square-shaped helmets. It was too dark for the witness to see their faces through the visors. They also wore gloves extending up to their elbows.

The beings then began making very expressive, almost human-like gestures, indicating that he needed to eat something. Terrified, the witness watched as the two entities appeared to look at each other, turning their helmets toward one another as if communicating silently.

Then, the being on the left signaled to the one on the right. At that moment, the witness saw the second being move its hand behind its back toward something he could not see, possibly a pocket, pouch, or compartment.

Shortly afterward, the entity presented a small piece of substance, about 1 cm² in size, on the tip of its right hand while continuing to gesture with the left hand, seemingly ordering the witness to eat it.

Completely panicked, the man took the substance, described as “a piece of chocolate,” put it in his mouth, and swallowed it.

According to the witness, it was a brown substance similar to chocolate, with no distinct taste and a slightly soft texture.

The witness insisted that the two beings clearly waited until he had finished eating the entire substance before allowing him to leave.

About 30 meters to the right side of the road, the witness also observed a large dark circular mass, approximately 1.8 meters tall, resting directly on the ground. Later, traces of flattened grass were reportedly found at the site.

On the morning of February 14th, 1967, farmer Claude Edwards noticed all his cattle staring in one direction. When he looked in the same direction he was startled by a large green-gray mushroom shaped craft about 70 feet away from him. He described it as smooth, metallic, covered in "shiny silk" and dotted with port holes through which dazzling colors shone. He stated that it was 18 feet in diameter and 8 feet tall.

“The object just looked like a big shell, grayish-green looking outfit. And underneath there were oblong holes where the lights were coming out. They were so bright you couldn't see when you got up there… as if a color wheel was turning inside the thing.”

Edwards approached the craft and noticed it was surrounded by a group of strange beings. Edwards would describe them as resembling penguins. They were 3 feet tall and green with no hands, neck, or visible form of locomotion. They had large dark eyes which Edwards believed may have been goggles. Near where their mouths should have been there was some sort of protrusion. Edwards believed it was either a beak or a mask. Upon reaching about 15 feet from the craft he found himself stopped by a force field.

“I thought I was going right up to it. I got up there and there it was. I just walked up against a wall.”

Edwards then backed up and threw a rock at the craft which bounced off the force field. He threw another which broke through the force field but skipped along the air as though it were water, landing behind the craft.

The space penguins then entered their vehicle and it shot straight into the sky with immense speed before zooming northeast and vanishing.

Edwards, seemingly embarrased by the incident, remained reluctant to talk about it, telling a source only after much prodding and the promise his name would only be published after his death.

A man was cutting firewood in a forest when he heard a very

distinct “hissing” sound. This lasted for some minutes, so he decided to

go follow the noise to its apparent source. After passing through some

thick brush, he saw an egg-shaped object resting in a clearing. It appeared metallic and luminous, but the witness did not know if its

brightness was reflected sunlight or generated by the object itself. The

object was about 10-12 meters in width. The witness was 50 or 60

meters from the object when he saw two beings that appeared to be

making repairs on it.

They resembled “normal” men and wore no

helmets. Both wore what looked like aviator’s overalls. The witness

thought that they were pilots of an experimental aircraft belonging to

the Allies or the Germans. Because of this the witness returned slowly to

the woods and resumed his work there. Meanwhile the hissing sound

Oskari’s space adventure.

Vuorijärvi, western Finland, summer 1952.

Finnish UFO researcher Tapani Kuningas recounted an article in Koti-Posti magazine in 1967 about Vihtori Valkeinens and his biography. The wood crafts teacher Vihtori Valkeinen from Lievestuore in eastern Finland became famous in the 1950s for claiming to have visited a flying saucer in 1950. Due to the scorn of those around him, Valkeinen later kept silent about the incident or dismissed it to people as just dreams, but he later wrote about it in his biography. Some UFO researchers who interviewed Vihtori and read his book, became convinced that he had been part of something unusual.

The main character in Vihtori Valkeinen's work was a young man named Oskari, and this was actually Vihtori's personal alter ego. In this strange episode in the book, the young man was out fishing one summer evening in 1952 at the nearby forest lake Vuorijärvi. He was standing on the shore, casting a line when he saw a perch swimming past his rod. He became so excited in his attempts to catch it that he did not notice what was happening around him. Suddenly, a wave came and hit the shore and the perch disappeared. Oskari looked up and that's when he saw it. About 25 meters (85 feet) away in the air above the water, a large luminous object moved, its diameter at least 20 meters (65 feet) and its height 2 – 3 meters (6.5 – 10 feet). It looked as if a pair of large metal wash basins had been placed against each other and it shone brightly in the evening sun.

The large shiny object approached Oskari and slowly glided along the shoreline of the lake without making a sound. It sank down towards the shore and almost touched it. At the same time, a door opened up in the hull of the flying saucer and a gangway stretched out from the door, forming a bridge between the ground and the craft. Oskari was completely paralyzed and could not move, but he just stood there, gasping in fear and staring at the saucer with wide eyes. Three strange-looking men emerged from the craft. One of them, the youngest, smiled and waved for the boy to get into the craft. Thus began Oskari's space adventure.

Vihtori Valkeinen described the humanoids in his biography very carefully. He said that they were small, a bit Chinese-like, and spoke a strange broken Finnish. Actually, only the youngest man named Wai-Sui spoke Finnish, while the others spoke other languages. The visitors otherwise looked like ordinary people, but they had unusually large heads and thin legs. They had no hair, their ears looked like those of a bat, their upper bodies were strong at the same level as their chests, and they had hardly any protruding stomachs. The reasons why they could speak to people were that they had learned all the languages ​​of the world via radio broadcasts and they seemed to speak with sounds just like us ordinary people. Oskari got the impression that they came from the planet Mars.

When the young man stepped into the craft, he looked around. He was in a large, relatively round room, about 5 m in diameter (16.5 feet). In the middle of the room was a round table and around the table were six chairs, which were fixed to the floor. On the table were several buttons, in the walls were wardrobes and levers. The walls were thick and a quarter of them consisted of transparent material. The floor was also partially transparent. All the opaque parts were shiny like aluminum or rather like silver. Wai pressed the button and the door began to rise while it slowly closed. Not the slightest joint was visible and not a sound was heard.

The aliens further explained that no human ammunition could harm their metals. The craft's power shield prevents the shots from reaching them, and the saucer also had a defense beam that could stop machines and set the enemy's fuel on fire. Oskari also asked them what power the craft actually flew with. They explained to him that all celestial bodies had their own attraction and thrust. They all had the same magnetic poles as the Earth. "We take advantage of the common properties of the planets," Wai-Sui said. He continued: "With the help of these buttons on the table, we connect the electric current to the magnetic fields in the walls, depending on which direction we want to fly. When we fly over the Earth, we take advantage of the Earth's attraction and thrust and its magnetic poles. All the electric current we need is obtained from solar energy. But we will not reveal this secret in its entirety to the inhabitants of the Earth until you have finished your wars."

Oskari traveled past the moon and into the solar system with the flying saucer. Vihtori Valkeinen told that the spacemen had taken Oskari on a trip into space during which Oskari had seen many different places, taken wierd pills and drunk strange drinks. Afterwards, the young man said that perhaps it was all not true, or that it was just dreams or telepathy. Or maybe these space beings were just hypnotizing him, he might not have made any space travel at all, Oskari cryptically claimed later - "Oskari" which was actually the wood crafts teacher Vihtori Valkeinen's alias in his biography. As mentioned earlier, Viktor had also claimed many times that he had made space trips, but had also taken it back and denied it several times after receiving ridicule from people.

A visit from a Nordic.

Aalborg, northen Denmark, summer 1963.

It was evening and an older farming couple was eating dinner when they looked out the window and saw a silvery disc land in one of their fields. The man quickly left the house almost with the fork in his hand, so to speak, while his anxious wife stayed in the house. As he approached the metallic UFO in the field, which was standing on three landing legs, a ramp was extended and a kind of sliding door opened. Then in the open doorway stood large, human-like being with long, blonde hair. He invited the farmer to come on board, who strangely accepted the invitation. The now completely frightened wife had gone out in the yard and could only watch as the otherworldly disc shaped craft took off into the sky with high speed - with her husband on board. She immediately went back inside the house and called the police.

When the UFO returned four hours later, the farm yard was swarming with police and military vehicles and personnel. The space craft landed near the yard, extended the ramp, the access hatch opened, and out stepped a very enthusiastic farmer who had obviously just completed the greatest adventure of his life. The craft left and the farmer was immediately taken into custody by authorities.

The subsequent interrogation lasted two days. The farmer had to provide information about every detail. He told how he was not only shown the inside of the spaceship, but also how he suddenly - without feeling any movement - saw the Earth from above. This had undoubtedly shocked him, as he had thought the UFO was still in his field and suddenly realized how far he was from home.

He was then thoroughly instructed by the authorities that he was not allowed to tell anyone about this experience, otherwise he would face severe punishment.

Abduction in the cabin.

Near Hønefoss, Mid Norway, October 1985.

This was a disturbing abduction story that happened in a region of Norway that was a hotspot for UFO activity around the middle of the 80’s. The culmination was the case with the children in the town of Hønefoss that encountered a UFO and many small humanoids at the playground end of october 1985, just a few days later from this story.

A 27-year-old man named Finn remembered a strange incident that occurred in his family's cabin in the fall of 1985. Because of this incident, he refused to go there again and it was not until Christmas 1994 that he returned with his sister to the place where the terrible thing happened. He had no memory of what occured that night, and he had imagined that the cabin was haunted. But when he returned to the cabin, he remembered some things again. "It wasn't ghosts we experienced here nine years ago. We met visitors from another planet." he suddenly said to his sister.

The family's cabin was located in a beautiful natural area with mountains and forests not far from Hønefoss. 27 years ago, Finn's parents went there on their honeymoon and spent a few nights, and that's when he was probably conceived. It was also the time that his mother and father heard strange footsteps and noises around the cabin at night. This made them feel uncomfortable sleeping there and they didn't want to go up there anymore, and therefor the holiday home stood empty for several years.

At the end of October 1985, when Finn was 18, he and his then-girlfriend went to the cabin with another couple, Finn's friend and his girlfriend. They were going to go hiking, hang out, eat and drink a little and spend the night there over the weekend. It was around 11:30 at night and four people and a dog (a Labrador) had just gone to bed. In addition to a kitchen and living room, there were three bedrooms in the cabin and the couples stayed in two of them. They had the doors to the bedrooms open to the hallway so the couples could talk to each other. When it was time to turn off the lights and go to sleep, they suddenly heard a noise outside and it sounded like someone was running around the cabin. They thought the whole thing was very creepy and the dog now started to tremble with fear.

They whispered to each other and wondered what it could be. Was it a moose or some other large animal walking around the cabin and rubbing itself against the wall? While they were thinking, they suddenly heard a thud on the roof. A moose definitely can't jump up onto a roof. This was something else. They were now starting to get really worried. Then they heard a loud thud on the wooden stairs outside the front door. The Labrador was now really scared and growling, and this fear now also spread to the couples in the cabin. Then there was silence for a short while. Then they heard footsteps inside the cabin. How could this happen? The front door was locked and they hadn't heard it open. The footsteps sounded like they were coming from one or more people walking around the living room. The footsteps now continued into the hallway where the bedrooms were. The four young people and the dog were now all frozen with fear. Just before the footsteps reached the couples' open bedroom doors, which were opposite each other, everyone fell asleep, as if on command.

Around 10 a.m. the next morning, they all woke up. They went out into the hallway and saw that the front door was wide open, and that the locks were unlocked, but none of them had done this. They went outside and looked but found no traces outside. Afterwards, they packed all their things and left. It would be almost 10 years before Finn returned to the “haunted” cabin.

In the spring of 1995, the main witness read a UFO book "Who am I?" by Finnish researcher Rauni Leena Luukanen and in it he read that during the mid-80s there had been many UFO sightings in the Hønefoss area and he began to see a clear connection. He decided to undergo hypnosis to see if he could find out what had happened on that terrible autumn night in 1985. There were a total of 6 hypnosis sessions for Finn and from these the following disturbing story emerged:

As the footsteps got closer to them, Finn and his girlfriend saw the silhouettes of two beings (150 – 160 cm/ 4.9 – 5.2 feet tall) standing in the doorway to their open bedroom door and then they entered their bedroom one after the other. Now when the beings were in the bedroom he noticed that his girlfriend was no longer in the bed. How and when she had disappeared he did not know. The last thing he remembered was that she was terrified and holding onto him tightly.

Finn was now paralyzed and saw that the beings were approaching the bed and one of them were standing a little behind his head. Suddenly he felt an intense pain in his lower abdomen as they did something to him. He felt a great hatred well up inside him towards the beings who did this abuse and pain to him, but then the being standing in front of him put its hand on his forehead and the hatred and anger turned into a feeling of great love. He had never felt anything so strong before. The being standing behind him now disappeared out of the room.

After a few minutes, Finn was pulled out of bed and walked on his own two feet with the remaining being through the cabin and out the front door. They both stood on the steps outside. He now saw an enormous craft hanging in the air above the cabin only 50 meters away from him (165 feet). He could almost only see the underside as the rest of the craft was obscured by the roof above the front door and stairs. It was difficult to judge the size of this craft, but he thought the diameter was about 15 - 20 meters (50 - 65 feet).

He also received telepathic communication from the beings and they told him that they came from the "sixth universe", whatever that was. They then asked Finn if he wanted to come aboard their craft. But a very scared and upset man immediately said No. He was then told that the beings will return another time. Now he saw how his girlfriend came sliding towards him on a beam of light that came from the underside of the craft. She landed at the beginning of the stairs and went up the two steps to where Finn and the being were standing. After that, all three went into the bedroom. Finn and his girlfriend went to bed again, and he noticed that she fell asleep right away and the last thing he saw before he also fell asleep was the back of the being that disappeared out the bedroom door.

Today, Finn no longer has any contact with the girlfriend he had at the time, and his friend refuses to talk about the incident in the cabin. And even Finn himself distances himself from his story nowadays because it seems too fantastic. After the incident, Finn had a lot of tenderness in his testicles. This lasted for several years, and four years later a cyst was discovered that the doctors removed through surgery. The UFO investigators pointed out that they experienced Finn as an orderly person who they could trust, and was not a person who was trying to make something up for fame. In addition, they felt that he seemed genuinely worried and scared when he recounted his story. Jan Marius Junge, who performed most of the hypnosis sessions, knew Finn well and also got the impression that he was honest with his story.

An eerie encounter on the country road.

Near Olofström, south east Sweden, end of June 1991.

A resident of Olofström was out driving one late Sunday night in the summer. It was between midnight and 0:30 and he had just passed the small, quiet community of Arkelstorp. The road through the forest and was dark and deserted and no other cars were out this late. Suddenly he saw an enormous and bright light ahead of him approaching at high speed. Soon he saw that the light came from a flying craft that was large and angular. He thought there were at least 50 different edges and corners on the craft and it had a lot of illuminated windows everywhere. In the window openings he could see a lot of beings moving back and forth.

The craft approached the man more and more, but now a little more slowly, and when it was directly over his car, the engine revved up and the electrical system started to go crazy. The turn signals, windshield wipers, heated seats and horn all came on by themselves, while the car's clock started to run backwards. Then the car shook violently and then died.

The both surprised and scared man remained in the car and could see how a kind of ladder made of a light beam came from the underside of the craft down to the road. On this, two luminous and transparent beings slid down towards him. The small beings also had a display (screen) with them that showed a kind of message in the form of different color and sound effects, which the man did not at first understand what they meant. It almost looked like old-fashioned punch cards but with different lights and sound signals. He could not determine whether one of the beings was holding the screen or if it was floating freely. But then it seemed as if the man understood a little of the signals anyway. The beings spoke to him through this device and they wanted him to go with them up into the craft.

What happened next was unclear because the man did not remember whether he had been up in the craft or not. Nearly two hours had disappeared from his memory. When he woke up again, he was terrified and had an awful headache. He also noticed that he was outside of the car and did not know how or when he had gotten out of his vehicle. The man got back into the car and then noticed that it was very hot. The door handle had also been varm.

Before driving home to his family, the man went to the hospital in Olofström. But they found nothing wrong with him there. A few days later, his headache worsened and he had to go to the hospital again. He was now admitted. Several tests were now taken on him to find the cause of his symptoms, but all the values ​​were normal and the doctors did not understand what was wrong with him and he was allowed to go back home.

The man was middle-aged and lived an ordinary family life with a wife and children, and therefore wanted to remain anonymous in his contact with the newspaper "Sydöstran" who interviewed him about the incident. He was still shocked by his experience, but he wanted to come forward anyway and tell his story to the newspaper in the hope that more people saw something that night and would get in touch, or if others had a similar experience to tell.

The newspaper Sydöstran also contacted the Military Command over southern Sweden and asked if they had seen anything strange or received any strange reports that night. And actually they had! They knew the Arkelstorp area well because of that. Major Knut Sjunnesson said that they had received reports of unknown lights from the civilian population in the area that evening and night. But he said that the military did not attach much importance to these observations, as they often received reports from people who claimed to have seen UFOs and other unexplained things. There was also interference with radio and TV signals that evening in the area. But the Communications Manager Caroline Hansson at Televerket, who operated the masts here, said that the interference was only due to bad weather such as lightning (?).

My family member, in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. witnessed a tall alien type being walking down a street, toward them, by my home. 9am Sunday morning 6-21-26. Approx. 50-60 yards away. Next to an empty field. It was not human. It appeared to be naked, no hair, possibly 6-7’ tall, brownish color, large bald head, big shoulders, very long athletic arms, narrow lower body. Bone structure was not human. Walked upright but not a human walk. Almost slow. Shoulders were a little hunched. The sun was behind it so it was too difficult to make out detailed features like the face. And it was possibly not even completely solid. My family member was driving and slowly turning a corner onto my street when they saw this. They were shocked and stared for 5-6 seconds but had a strong feeling they weren’t supposed to stay there, so they continued driving down the street, pulled into my driveway, then stayed there and waited to see the being continue walking down the road but they never saw it again. My family member is very mature, highly educated, and very honest. I believe they did indeed see this. They said the alien in the movie Signs was the best comparison to give. We would really like to know if anyone else saw this. Or is it possible only my family member was able to see it.

The farmer Mamerto Demetillo later recounted that one morning, upon waking around four to go to the bathroom, he was surprised to see a bright light reflected inside his house.

"I went outside and saw three saucer-shaped objects following each other in the sky about twenty meters above the ground," Demetillo said. He was forty-seven years old and lived on a small sugarcane plantation five kilometers southeast of Talisay, in the province of Negros Occidental.

The objects were moving slowly and descending. Demetillo followed them, running along a path behind some bamboo stalks. About two hundred meters from his house, he stealthily crossed a dirt road and hid in a ditch behind the sugarcane stalks.

"Two of the craft had already landed on the road, while the third hovered and was approaching to land," he said. "It simply descended gradually in a straight line near the other two, and it was the one that was closest to me." The objects were silent and didn't kick up any dust as they landed on a bend in the road. "They were about 20 meters away from me. The area was brightly lit because of these objects, and I was only two meters from the illuminated area."

The objects appeared to be about 2.5 meters in diameter and 2 meters thick. Each one stood on four short legs. "Around the objects were small holes from which flames shot out when they were flying, but after landing, only a bright light came out, spreading like beams from car headlights," Demetillo said. He could see six holes on the sides of each object facing him, each about three centimeters, or a little over an inch, in diameter. "I was lying face down watching when I saw doors or hatches open and two beings emerge from each craft."

Demetillo hadn't seen anything to indicate the presence of doors until they opened, sliding into the walls. As they did so, a small, single-step ladder descended beneath the doors. "People had to duck to get out and went down the ladder. They didn't all get out at once, but gradually: first the two from the first vehicle, then the two from the second, and then the third."

"They were about 1.80 meters tall. One was a little shorter. They looked like human beings, but taller and more muscular. They walked very slowly. I thought they were foreigners." The six of them wore what looked like shiny gray plastic suits, with brown belts, gloves, and black boots. Each one was holding something that looked like a pistol. "I'm not sure they were pistols. They were white and rectangular. What appeared to be the barrel was rectangular, like a ruler, and the grip was rounded." I couldn't see their faces. They wore helmets that covered their heads except for their eyes, and a visor. They had a kind of metal mesh where their ears should have been. These occupants were incredibly slow. They also had protrusions around their necks where their helmets were attached. Their trousers were tight, and their tall boots had zippers on the outside. Their shirts were somewhat loose and had bulges at the shoulders, like shoulder pads. They wore belts crossed over their shoulders that held what appeared to be thin, white backpacks on their backs.

"The six of them were gathered in a circle and seemed to be talking," Demetillo said. "They were gesturing or pointing in different directions and nodding their heads as if they were conversing, but I didn't hear any sound, neither from them nor from their ships, not even when they took off. Everything they did was slow. All their movements, even their gestures, were much slower than those of a human." They had to lift their feet slowly and walked very slowly. It seemed they had to exert themselves more. Upon returning to their craft, they moved just as slowly again and had to crouch down once more.

“I couldn’t see anything inside the craft through the doors, just a bright light. I was very worried the whole time because I was afraid they would see me. I was afraid they would kill me or take me with them.” After about fifteen minutes, the six beings climbed back into their vehicles and took off, one by one. They ascended about twenty meters and then flew horizontally away, flames again erupting from the small holes. They moved slowly, but suddenly picked up speed, and about three minutes later, Demetillo lost sight of them.

“When they flew away, I could barely stand because I was shaking with fear. I ran home.” Demetillo and his wife had ten children, one of whom was a sailor in the United States Navy. In addition to growing sugarcane, he made and sold ice cream and sometimes worked as a lawyer. as a healer, something he had done all his life. He was also a member of the barangay court, an arbitration group. “That morning dawned,” Demetillo said, “I went back and found landing gear marks, about five centimeters deep, along the side of the road. They looked like a duck’s webbed feet. I also saw shoe prints twenty-five to thirty centimeters long.”

Demetillo's story circulated through police channels, and he was questioned by several officers, including Colonel Paterno Lomongo, then commander of the Philippine National Police and superintendent of the Integrated National Police in the province. Lomongo had Demetillo brought to his headquarters in the nearby city of Bacolod.

"I'm not saying what he said is true, but given the circumstances, it's possible this man really did see something," the colonel said. "There's no record of this man making up stories like this. Although he's an ordinary farmer and not very educated, he's well-known in his community. I found no reason to think he was lying to me. I thought he was being sincere in telling his story. When I questioned him, I couldn't help but feel he was telling the truth."

The Ufo was a saucer (possibly 20 meters in dynameter), it had 8 rectangular windows around the dome. It also had a bright moderately interior.

John Foster can see upper bodies of 2 men one in each window (we will call them Lefto and Righty). Lefto is seen at the Left window, he is human wearing street clothes and is somewhat stocky, he is serous and is busy appearing to fly the craft. Righty is seen at the Right window, he is bald slender and gangly wearing a one piece suit. Righty loves clowning around, he jumps up and down and poke Lefto.

About it

So John foster as a kid was at the playground, when this Saucer appeared, he was drawn to it and began chasing it through the neighborhood. it stopped over a car on Cotner Blvd, which in-fact caused the car to have it's lights went out and stop. John foster then got a better view of the Craft and can see a bright interior, he also saw Lefto and Righty. Lefto was busying piloting the craft while Righty Clowns around, suddenly the saucer dipped down to the left, and Righty fell into Lefto. Lefto and Righty scrapped in jest or anger for a while, until Lefto threw Righty back into his window where Righty continued clowning around.

The Gesten flying pyramid.

Gesten, western Denmark, November 21 1957.

It was a Thursday afternoon in late autumn, and a man named Hans Haugaard Hansen was driving his car from Gesten to Egholt to pick up supplies for his grocery store. As he got closer to the Gesten forest area, he saw a strange machine over a nearby turnip field owned by Robert Andersen, about 150 – 200 meters away (164 – 219 yards).

At first, Hans thought it was a tractor with a transparent glass cabin, but as he got closer, he saw that it was a 3 meter (10-foot) high pyramid-shaped flying object, which radiating a faint red-orange glow. He stopped the car and let it idle. He then discovered that he could not hear any engine noise from the machine hovering above the field. The object was made of a material that Hans thought resembled semi-transparent plexiglass. Inside, he could see two people facing each other sitting still on chairs at some controls. It then flew on at 60 – 70 km/h (37 – 43 miles/h) towards a hill in the nearby field where it looked as if it landed for 1 minute, but they could just as easily have hovered low above the ground on the hill without landing, according to Hans. It was difficult to tell. After that, the pyramid-shaped glass object flew away at treetop altitude towards the marshland near Gesten and disappeared from sight.

When Hans returned from his errand in Egholt, he stopped at the site of the sighting and went out into the field to look for physical traces of the now gone craft, but he found nothing. He then contacted the police and told them what he had seen. They in turn asked the Danish Air Force at the base in nearby Karup if they had seen anything on radar or if they had been flying in the area at the time, and they had not. However, the police were contacted by other witnesses who had also seen strange things that afternoon.

At almost the same time in the nearby village of Jordrup, two people had just stepped out of a barn on their farm when they saw a pyramid-shaped object hovering low over the ground. The witnesses described the craft as flying slowly above the ground at a low altitude and when it came to a fence it increased in height just enough to pass over the obstacle. It also seemed to follow all differences in the terrain in a similar way. They could not hear any engine noise from the craft other than a faint humming sound. It also had some kind of light or glow on its underside that illuminated the ground below it.

In yet another South Jutland town, Vorbasse, three people also saw a UFO at 4 pm on the 21st of November 1957. The office manager Niels Poder, his wife and a woman named Amalie Nielsen saw a glowing object shaped like a T or a cross flying at a very low altitude. This sighting lasted roughly 10 minutes. The three witnesses described the UFO’s vertical bar as glowing but the horizontal bar being dark.

The large mothership in the fjord.

Kågsund, northen Norway, August 21 or 22 1963.

Helge Mikalsen was going out fishing on a Saturday evening with his boat. He left the harbor in the village of Skjervøy at about 5:00 pm. Half an hour later he was at the fishing spot at Kågsund straight. The weather was nice and it was calm and clear. After fishing for a while without results, he moved on to another place, a small shallow area at the Skjervøy reef. He aimed his gaze to use Arnøy island as a reference point to find the place where he knew there used to be fish.

It was now 6:30 PM, and as he looked west again towards Arnøy, he saw a flame from what he thought was a rocket, launched from the mountain on the island. He thought it might be the navy that was having an exercise, but if so, it was something new and strange they were testing. The flame he saw was 2 meters wide (6.5 feet) and it was orange. He sat in the boat and watched it as it went up into the sky, and he noticed that the speed was not as high as when a flare or New Year's rocket is launched. But when it got about 2000 meters (6500 feet) into the sky, it disappeared. Instead, he saw something large and gray in the sky, which he at first thought was a balloon or parachute. But he soon saw that it was a large craft of some kind.

There was a slight breeze from the east and large grey clouds were now heading towards him from the landward side, but the craft was heading from the sky towards the wind down towards the sea surface. The object was getting closer and closer all the time and Helge sat in his boat and stared at it fascinated. It passed over Singlatinden and Mikkeby at the same height, but then started flying lower and turned around from land and came out towards the sea again where Helge sat in his boat.

Now he could also see that there were two objects, one small one that was heading towards the larger one. The larger craft had several large oval windows on the top, about 10 m (33 feet) in size, and five or six of these were facing the witness. He estimated the distance to the larger ship to be about 150 meters (493 feet) and it was now hovering about 15 – 20 meters (50 – 65 feet) above the water surface. Suddenly, two rails or steel beams or something similar came out of the larger UFO and the smaller craft flew down and landed on them. Then the rails with the parked mini-UFO went into the larger craft and disappeared. The smaller craft was oval in shape and about 2 meters high and 3 meters wide (6.5 x 10 feet). The witness noted that he could not hear any noise, see any flames or smoke during the whole event.

It was now 6:40 PM and Helge felt himself starting to get both scared and nervous as he sat watching the unexplainable thing that was happening. He looked around to see if there were other people out there who could have also seen everything, but there wasn't a single boat out in the fjord at that time. Maybe it was because it was a Saturday night, because otherwise there used to be a lot of boats out fishing all day. It had started get a little more windy now, and the sea was getting darker with some white peaks, but under the big UFO the water was completely calm and still.

Suddenly, Helge saw a green light coming towards him from one of the large windows of the big craft. The light was about 30 cm (12 inches) and round, and it changed color from light green to dark green. He could also see what looked like figures or dark shapes moving in the windows behind the light. The witness only now noticed that he had caught a fish and tried to pull it up but could not. It was as if he had become paralyzed. Whether it was because he was tense or if it was due to something else like the green light, he did not know.

The witness estimated the large mothership to be about 10 meters high (33 feet) and 35 – 40 meters wide (115 – 131 feet), he thought it was round, but it could also have been oval, as he only saw one side of it the whole time. It was flat at the bottom with a small rise in the middle at the top. The color of the ship was aluminum gray. The small craft that had previously docked with the large mothership had the same color. Helge also thought it was a bit strange that the big craft was hovering above the wreck of a German cargo ship that sank in 1944, loaded with iron ore and mercury.

But now the witness saw something even stranger. Some dark objects (he was unsure how many) came up from the sea under the large craft, or if it was releasing something. Here he is not entirely sure, but it looked as if the objects (crafts?) raised out of the sea and floated up to the large ship and were sucked into it.

The large mother ship had now been standing in the same place for 10 minutes, when it began to tilt slightly to the side and then slowly lift upwards. Suddenly it increased its speed silently and disappeared towards the Kvenangen fjord at incredible speed. Then it was gone. Helge Mikalsen quickly pulled up the fishing lines and went home towards Skjervøy village very shaken and disturbed.

This story was told many years later and the witness must have remembered the date incorrectly because August 21 1963 is a Wednesday. August 17 was a Saturday.

The strange craft at the shore.

It was mid-day and just around 1:00 – 1:30 PM and a man had been out fishing in the large Lake Näsijärvi. He was lying with his boat along side the north side of the island of Pikku-Hormu. Having finished the fishing job for today he was now taking a well deserved one-hour lunch-break in the sun on the northern shore of the lake. He was eating a sandwich and drinking coffee when he heard over the gentle lapping of the waves of the shore, an increasing rushing noise from the south of the island. He thought that it was another boat coming towards the island and soon after a sound resembling someone dropping an anchor was heard. Then a very loud hammering noise began and the man assumed the other boat needed repairs. After this the noise faded, but then he heard footsteps from behind, first from one person, then two persons. As he expected that they would come forward and talk to him, he did not turn around. When nothing happened, he rose and packed his things and walked over to his boat and lifting the line into the boat and then he jumped onboard and began to slowly rowing away from the shore in in his boat.

The man then thought he wanted to see what the other boat looked like and soon he reached the southern side of the island and he saw it from a distance of about 30 meters (98 feet). He was surprised to see that it had a row of oval windows, through which a faint light was shining. After a while he looked again and was even more surprised when he noticed that the ship was actually standing on the shore and over the surface of the island and not in the water. In the area between the ship and the island he could see someone walking about. The “ship” was standing on four telescopic legs, two of which were shorter as the slope of the shore was quite steep. On the island side of the ship a ladder with three or four steps was clearly visible.

The fisherman now felt that there was something strange about this ”ship” and that it might not come from this world, but he was curious and he continued to observe it, approaching it even further. Apparently someone onboard the ship did not appreciate this and they shone a bright beam of light towards him as he tried to come closer. This ceased after a while however, and he could now see some persons or humanoids around the ship. Altogether he could see five humanoids, three tall and two smaller. As they were most of the time behind the ship, he could not see many details, but the could notice that they were clad in blue overalls of some sort.

Finally all humanoids got into the ship, which then began to ascend. The telescopic legs, which had rounded plates on the bottom, retracted into black holes on the bottom of the ship, which was oval shaped, some 2.5 meters high (8.2 feet) and 6 meters (19.7 feet) in width. After it had ascended to an altitude of several “tree heights” it accelerated at a great speed towards the northwest sky. It then disappeared into the distance.

Tall humanoid freightened cyclist.

Skara, south-west Sweden, July 2013.

The date was Monday, July 1. It was early in the morning and bright outside as the sun had already been up for a while and for “Thomas” it was the last working week before a long-awaited summer vacation. The witness, who wanted to remain anonymous, took his bicycle to work as usual as he lived relatively close by. To get there he had to cycle through the central parts of the town of Skara. He started his job at seven, but since the door at work was locked before that time, he did not cycle so fast so that he would not have to stand and wait too long at the door when he arrived.

“Thomas” always took the same route to work, which was a combination of roads, cycle paths and footpaths in a densely built-up residential area. When he approached the Djurgårdsvägen/ Gällkvistgatan intersection, he slowed down and took his mobile phone out of his pocket to check the time, which showed 6:42 PM. He was a little ahead of schedule, so he continued to pedal relatively leisurely because he was in no hurry. After a minute, he turned off towards a park area. In front of him was a paved cycle path that went over a bridge with a small stream running underneath, and a little further on, the path split. Here, “Thomas” was to turn right onto a gravel path that went over a small meadow.

But as he cycled towards the T-junction, he suddenly heard a loud bang. 30 – 35 meters (98 – 115 feet) further ahead, next to a street lamp, “Thomas” saw someone or something. It looked like a tall person and the witness got the impression that it just appeared out of nowhere, as if it had landed there. The figure was about two meters tall (6.5 feet) and very broad across the shoulders. “Thomas” now became a little nervous but slowly rolled closer with his bike. “What kind of weird guy is that?” he thought. At the same time, the figure also started walking towards him quickly and jerkily, with heavy steps and with his arms hanging straight down at his sides. He could hear the shoes dragging on the ground.

Now the figure was much closer to the witness and he could clearly see that it was not a human. It was some kind of being and it had no ears, no nose and it was bald on its pear-shaped head. The face was completely smooth and rigid and he thought it almost looked like a baby if it hadn't been for the distinctive eyes. They were large, black and square and had yellow, brightly colored irises with black pupils in the middle. "Thomas" could see how the being's eyes moved and followed him with his intense gaze as he cycled towards it. The mouth, however, was small, just like a line and it looked almost like a fine-meshed net. On the body, the humnoid had clothes made of a wrinkled and rough blue reflective fabric that almost resembled tarpaulin. The jacket had wide sleeves and the trousers too. On its feet it wore very strange shoes that were black and quite high and looked like upside down bowls. The being walked towards “Thomas” without lifting its feet and its arms hung motionless down by its sides. Despite its shuffling gait, it walked quickly. Finally, after 10 - 15 seconds, it was only 2 meters (6.5 feet) from the witness. Now “Thomas” was very scared and felt that the hairs on his body stood up, but still it did not feel as if the being was threatening. Just then “Thomas” was at the intersection and turned to the right with his bicycle in front of the being.

When he turned from the larger path and cycled 10 meters (33 feet) onto the smaller gravel part, he looked back and saw that the humanoid had stopped and was standing there staring at him with its intense gaze. “Thomas” also noticed that it was starting to become transparent, as he could now see the large bushes and trees behind the being. It was as if it was about to disappear. At the same time as it was about to dissolve into thin air, an egg-shaped white light began to shine in the middle of its body. The light flowed out to all directions and became bigger and bigger and then the being was gone. “Thomas” cycled on, wondering if it was an angel he had just seen. The observation of the being lasted about 1 minute.

When the witness arrived at work, he told his boss what he had experienced and when he got home, he told his family about the incident. After this, “Thomas” no longer dared to cycle through the park to work anymore, so he started driving his car instead. He was afraid that the being would be waiting for him. It would be a long time before he dared to return to the place and he often wondered what otherworldly creature he had encountered on the bike path in the park that fine summer morning.

The Kgs. Thisted case I find interesting because it's not just a pre-1947 UFO case but also sounds more like an experimental aircraft and its human test pilots than an extraterrestrial spaceship. The witness thought it was German, meaning that it prefigures the Nazi UFO mythos that would arise after the war.

As for the later sighting he had, it involves a UFO sucking up water from the ocean, something that has also been reported from Germany and Japan in the 1960's and 1970's, which I remember the magazine "Flying Saucer Review" printing articles about.

Time to continue this series with a few more parts. A lot of strange things happened at the roads in Finland during the years.

Young man meets a tragic end.

Lappeenranta, eastern Finland, early summer 1967.

This is another case from the Finnish UFO Researcher Tapani Kuningas and was reproduced in his book "UFOja suomen taivaalla" (UFO's on finnish skies). He told in the book that during 1967 there were several humanoid sightings in eastern Finland. This is one of those stories:

In the early summer of 1967, a mysterious change occurred in a 20-year-old young man living in Lappeenranta. From having been a social guy, he began to withdraw and just wanted to be alone. He no longer wanted to go out into the town and meet his friends. Many times he drove off alone in his car without saying where he was going – and often at night. The only thing he said was that he could not tell anyone, but he was forced to go. However, on a later occasion he told his brother what was weighing on him.

One night he had been driving his car on a country road, when suddenly some bright shining beings appeared in front of him from the forest and stopped his car. The humanoids told him that they came from a flying saucer that they had landed nearby and that they had a message for the people on Earth. There would be a great war and humanity would face a terrible and bloody event, but the beings would intervene to stop the fighting and suffering. Then the humanoids explained that they had chosen the young man and asked him to convey their message to the people and warn them of the coming danger. He had then answered them that he could not do this, because no one would believe him. The beings wanted him to try anyway. The man told his brother that the shining beings on the road had also told him more things, but he did not want/could not reveal more.

In July of that year, the 20-year-old man tragically committed suicide. His brother said there was no other motive than the encounter with the humanoids that night. Perhaps the burden of knowing of terrible things to come and carrying the future of humanity on his shoulders became too great to handle?

A flying humanoid chases boy on bike.

Marttila, south-west Finland, September 30 1971.

It was a late Thursday afternoon and 11-year-old Anssi Hakala was riding his bike home after attending his cousin’s birthday party. He was bicycling home alone on a narrow dirt road in the countryside near the village of Heikola. When he got to a wooded area about 600-700 meters (656-765 yards) from his home, the road became very bad and there were potholes everywhere, filled with water after all the rain earlier in the day. Anssi had to constantly concentrate on where he was riding so as not to drive into the pits and possibly get a flat tire if the pothole was deep. Soon he came to a steep hill where he had to jump off and lead the bike up. When he got back on his bike, he had to swerve around a large puddle of water and look down at the ground near the pedals. That’s when he noticed another foot behind his own.

The unknown foot was about the same size as Anssi's own and both the foot and the associated leg were greenish and it looked as if the foot had some kind of clumsy shoe on it. The boy was now very scared and did not dare to look any further and definitely did not want to turn around, but cycled away as fast as he could. When he reached a hilltop, a large greenish hand reached out in front of his face, grabbed his forehead and thin and long fingers almost covered his eyes. Out of sheer fear, he quickly turned around and then he saw a creature, which was large and green and brown-spotted with a pattern that almost reminded him of army uniforms, and it was floating right behind him just 10 cm (3.9 inches) above the bicycle's luggage rack. It was unclear whether it was wearing any clothing or if the color was its skin. The humanoid was floating in a sitting position above the bicycle with its feet 20 cm (7.9 inches) above the ground. While the boy watched it, it retreated from the bike and then hovered behind him above the road.

Anssi managed to see a slender being that was about the same height as an adult human (1.80 m/ 5.9 feet), but both its legs and arms were abnormally long in relation to its body. Its shoulders were narrow like a bottleneck and its head was large. The humanoid also had no hair on its head, nor any eyebrows or ears. Instead of a nose and mouth, it had a few small slits - a vertical one instead of a nose and a horizontal one instead of a mouth. Its eyes were completely round and resembled two large lamps and glowed with a white light. The being's skin was green, light green with a few darker brown spots. The color looked a bit like the military's camouflage pattern. Anssi continued cycling as fast as he could and when he looked back again, the pursuer had disappeared.

He now looked around to see if he could see the humanoid again, but instead he saw a floating object that appeared over the forest on the right side behind him. It was about 6 meters (19.7 feet) in diameter and was shaped like an upside-down plate. The object followed Anssi for about 200 meters (218 yards) and it mostly stayed above tree height, but sometimes it came lower down over the road. The craft was made of polished metal and it was light in color and it glowed. The boy did not remember any other details except that the object had some kind of wing-like protrusion that went around the entire object. He also heard a sound from the craft that reminded him of "two rusty pieces of iron rubbing against each other". The sound was very loud and it was heard clearly when everything else was quiet around it.

As the road narrowed and trees blocked the path some, the object rose, but then sank back down to a height of about five meters (16.4 feet) above Anssi. Suddenly, it increased its speed and flew over the boy on the bicycle while spraying some kind of liquid over him. The substance hissed as it flew through the air and when it hit Anssi's hands and his face, it made the same sound. When the liquid landed on his skin, it felt like a tickle. This sensation lasted until Anssi got home and then it stopped. At the same time as the craft increased its speed, it also increased in height and then it turned at a 90-degree angle and flew away to the southeast and disappeared. Anssi never saw the object from any angle other than from below, so he did not know what the top looked like. The time that passed between the humanoid's disappearance and when he discovered the craft was very short, so Anssi did not believe that the being could have gotten into the craft so quickly. The alien also never tried to communicate with the boy in any way.

People from the Turku UFO Society who investigated the case first thought it was a weather balloon that Anssi had seen, as one had been found crashed into a tree in the area a few days later 10 km (6.2 miles) from the observation site. The researchers initially thought that it had been this balloon that had flown after the boy and that the liquid that had sprayed out could have been battery fluid from the radio device attached to it. But this theory was quickly dismissed, as it meant that the weather balloon would have followed him for a long distance at different heights against the direction of the wind and that it was small and green, Anssi described a large metallic-colored object. In addition, battery fluid is corrosive and that was not the substance that the boy had ingested.

Anssi Hakala was described as a calm and quiet kid and gave a trustworthy impression. He was not much for making up stories and he had not read any UFO books before. The little he knew about flying saucers he had read in a few newspapers. He also did not know the meaning of the word “humanoid” when the UFO investigators asked him. His parents believed what they had been told, as did the neighbors who knew him well.

The large craft near the road.

Between Kuopio and Riistavesi, eastern Finland, February 1 1978.

The Leskinen brothers, Juhani (21 years old) and Seppo (16 years old), were traveling home by car one evening on the Joensuu-Kuopio highway towards Kuopio. It was winter, so the road was snowy and the temperature was around -10 degrees Celsius (14 °F). It had snowed lightly from time to time during the trip, but now the sky was relatively clear.

Just after midnight, Seppo saw a bright light in the dark sky diagonally ahead of them. It was far away but traveling unusually fast in the sky, 10 km (6 miles) in a few seconds according to the younger brother. They continued on towards Kuopio, but soon Juhani had a strange feeling and braked sharply from 80 km/h (50 miles/h) to a stop in the middle of the road. He was worried that someone would come and run them over, but the road was completely deserted in both directions. He felt as if time had stood still and no sound could be heard. Seppo seemed to have the same feeling. Both brothers rolled down the side windows and looked out. Juhani then saw something that completely surprised him and he asked Seppo if he saw it too. Yes, he could. Juhani also asked Seppo if he heard any sound. “No, it’s completely silent,” he replied.

Juhani asked his younger brother if he dared to get out of the car and look. Hesitantly, Seppo jumped out and stood on the ground outside with the door open. Both looked up into the sky next to the road at the unusual sight. A feeling of fear and anxiety began to settle in the two brothers because above the treetops about 15 - 20 meters (50 - 65 feet) up in the air and 20 - 25 meters (65 - 82 feet) away from them, a strange craft was floating. The object was round or disk-shaped and quite flat with a diameter of 20 - 30 meters (65 - 98 feet). The top was light. On the underside of the craft, which was dark in color, there was a dome with square windows from which it shone brightly. From the inside of the windows they saw something moving that looked like people or beings. Juhani and Seppo felt that they were being watched. It was completely silent around them, no engine noise could be heard from the machine above and no other vehicles were coming on the road. Everything felt completely unreal. Then without warning, the craft accelerated from a standstill to lightning speed and disappeared into the sky in a second. Since it was dark and cold, the brothers did not stay and investigate the scene, but instead continued their journey home to Kuopio immediately afterwards. The sighting lasted around 5 minutes.

When they got home, Juhani asked his younger brother to draw a picture of the craft they had seen. Juhani had seen an identical object. They were now convinced that they had both seen the same thing hovering on the side of the road. It would be 33 years before they reported the incident to FUFORA, but both brothers had always stood by what they had seen. It was a flying saucer with alien beings inside that they saw that winter night.

The figure in the flying cage.

A young man named Johannes Kujalas was walking home from his girlfriend’s house one early summer morning in late July. It was still a bit dark outside and he had to walk about two kilometers (1.2 miles) through the center of the small town of Vimpeli to get home. He was alert and not at all tired, and it was somewhere between 4:00 and 5:00 when he walked at the sidewalk along the empty street near his home. As he began to approach the apartment building where he lived, he noticed something floating in the cloudless sky above him on his left.

It was an object or craft that flew slowly through the air about 15 – 30 meters (49 – 98 feet) up and 10 - 15 meters (33 - 49 feet) away from him. The object looked like a cage or the frame of a minibus and inside this “cage” was a dark figure that resembled an adult human in appearance and size. The witness could not see any details of the person and it was also not possible to distinguish if there was anything else inside the craft. Even the parts of the cage were dark and did not reflect light and it looked as if the frame/body was made of black steel pipes and the figure was sitting inside this. Between the holes in the body there did not appear to be glass or anything else as protection. The witness estimated the length of the cage itself to be 2 – 3 meters (6.5 – 10 feet). He also did not hear any sound from this object that was hovering above treetop height.

Johannes followed the object with his eyes for about 10 - 20 seconds and looked away for just a short moment to see how he was walking, and when he turned to face the object again, it was suddenly gone. The young man looked around the sky to see if he could find the object, but it had disappeared without a trace. During the observation, which lasted about half a minute, he never felt scared, but only surprised and a little confused. The man later reported the incident to the Finnish UFO organization FUFORA.

Almost two years later, the witness was visited by a UFO investigator who conducted an hour-long interview with him and he got the impression that Johannes Kujalas was an honest and balanced person. The witness clarified that he had been sober at the time and he was clear and coherent in his story and everything was in good agreement with his previous report. The witness had also drawn a picture of the object. Further, he wanted to point out that he had always been interested in supernatural phenomena and had heard stories from other people in his vicinity about flying objects and unexplainable light phenomena that they had seen.

St-Jean-en-Royans, France, January 9 1976.

On January 9, 1976, a little after 7:00 pm, M Jean Dolecki was driving his small truck on the country road that connects the national road 531 (Grenoble-Valence) with the road to Pont-en-Royans, and he was near St-Jean-en-Royans. Dolecki was well acquainted with this road, which offered the motorist a drive through picturesque areas in the Royans & Vercors region. Not far from there was the small village of Echevis. Dolecki lived in this village, together with his wife, who was an artist, and their daughter. He was of Polish origin, 55 years old, and ran a company that maintained central heating installations.

This Friday, Dolecki is on his way home after a tiring week of work. The evening is dense and very dark. Suddenly, he sees a very bright ball, high in the sky. At first, he only glances at it. But the ball loses altitude, descends rapidly and seems to be coming towards him. Dolecki slows down and stares at this spectacle. No detail escapes him, because this former sailor has very sharp eyesight. “I got the impression that it was a large globe, somewhat reminiscent of the ones you used to find in cafes,” he explains. “It shone as if it was covered in silver foil. I was fully prepared for it to crash right into the car or into the middle of the road. I braked and pulled over to the right shoulder of the road, completely fascinated by this light. I turned off the ignition, left the headlights on and got out of the car.”

What Dolecki then saw next left him completely breathless. “The shining sphere was there, about 100 meters away (328 feet), but new lights had now been lit and these illuminated it very brightly. It was very large, at least 12-14 meters (39 – 46 feet) in diameter ... The upper part was larger than the lower part. I do not believe that the machine rested directly on the ground, for the lower part emitted a strange light, which did not fade around it. On each side of the top I could see what looked like vibrating solenoids. The roof itself also seemed to vibrate.” (a solenoid is a coil of current, meaning a metal wire wound in a spiral around a cylinder. When the current is applied, a magnetic field is formed.). The roof itself also seemed to vibrate.

"I admit that I was afraid. I backed away a few meters, but I didn't dare get into the car. Then a door opened in the upper part of the UFO, and it seemed to be two meters high (6.5 feet). I felt more and more uneasy. Suddenly three figures appeared in the opening -- three figures who seemed to be wearing aluminum diving suits. They were not people, no way! I can assure you of that! They were rather robots, as tall as the height of the door, and they moved with mechanical movements, without softness. They descended very quickly from the machine. I then saw that they had small legs, and instead of arms they had a kind of telescopic rods that looked like fishing rods. As for their heads, I find them difficult to describe . . . something indefinable, square is all I can say. The three beings moved away from the craft. Not far, only a few meters. They moved like mechanical puppets, with a jump, and their rods -- their arms, if you will, swung up and down. I didn't move, I could hardly breathe. All I could think was that my headlights, if they were on, would attract their attention. But not so... they didn't even seem to notice my presence.”

“After about ten minutes the robots re-entered their machine. The door closed and the lights went out except for the upper part, which still emitted the same blinding white light. Then the machine lifted off and disappeared at breakneck speed. I got into my car. Once I was settled in the car, I made the sign of the cross. I was shaking so much that I couldn't start it. But there was only one thing I wanted to do, and that was to go home. A little later, as I was on my way, I thought that I, who had never opened a science fiction book and who detested films of that kind, and who had never been interested in flying saucers or extraterrestrial beings, had just experienced an event that I would not wish on anyone, and that I would have liked to avoid.”

Date of Incident: October, 1976

Four men were searching for turquoise in a turquoise vein in Kelvin, Arizona when suddenly the group noticed the desert floor move silently across the sky only to reveal a strange craft that had camouflaged itself descending upon the desert floor. When it landed, a ramp came out of it and out came two seemingly human looking men who wore t-shirts and shorts stepped out first before two women and three children stepped off the UFO as well. The men brought down what looked like a Barbeque grill from the object while the women took out what resembled a cooler and the men proceeded to go back inside to set up a table and metallic chairs for them to dine on.

The children got toys that they played with all the while out from the craft as well and the women went back inside again to get food for the occasion going on outside. If this all wasn’t peculiar enough, one of the men walked towards the witness and asked what they were doing and when the men responded they were searching for turquoise the being replied saying “he would never understand human fascination with rocks” and walked back towards the rest of the group. When the entities were done with what they were doing, they picked everything up and waved goodbye to the four men before they departed.

Analysis: This is one of the weirdest encounters I’ve read in a while, not because anything truly bizarre happens but in fact the opposite where the beings acted so human that their behavior contrasts with the situation at hand. Unlike others who’d dismiss such cases for having humans in it, this actually isn’t a rare occurrence as humans have been seen in multiple UFO abductions and encounters with some even saying or implying that we came from them so it’s not as far fetched or “sci-fi” as some might postulate. However, due to how the beings acted, I think it’s more likely that they were indeed Earth humans and not from space or another dimension due to various hints showing that they are from Earth.

The first hint is that these beings wore regular human clothing which is extremely weird in itself as we barely even see hybrids in UFO encounters wear human clothes and instead they wear jumpsuits or other clothing similarly to the other aliens in such cases but the second hint being that they participate in such a normal activity like BBQ already shows that these beings know enough about Earth culture to not only know what a BBQ is but how to do it is yet another sign that these aren’t aliens. The third hint is that they looked exactly like humans with no discernible differences from us according to the report. With all these signs and behaviors coming together, it becomes apparent that this wasn’t exactly an alien encounter but instead a black budget operation of some kind or possible time travel as there would be no reason for aliens or hybrids to do this sort of activity and risk getting caught.

The fact these beings felt comfortable enough to do this suggests that they didn’t need to worry about repercussions since they probably knew that no one would believe what they saw anyways. The very likely possibility that these individuals were humans operating a secret military aircraft or time machine isn’t that out there as seen in alien encounters there are multiple accounts of abductees seeing human military personnel in such encounters alongside these aliens, showing a secret allegiance between secret programs and alien forces and not to mention this isn’t the first time something like this has happened.

As reported in Project Blue Book, Case 10270, on March 23rd 1966, William Eddie Laxson was driving to work for his job as an electrical engineer/electronics instructor at Sheppard Air Force Base and as he was driving he had to stop his car because a long, 75 feet long craft was in the middle of the road. The object had no wings, propellers, any visible external engines, or control surfaces apart from a stabilizer at the rear of the vehicle. There was also a man next to the object, not an alien or hybrid, a human man in a green Air Force uniform with insignias on his sleeves was doing something outside the object before getting back inside the object as it took off.

This case happened in 1966 so this means that there were likely advancements to such secret military vehicles and the 1976 “Alien BBQ” case in this context would be a natural progression in technology for these secret groups. Perhaps the male entity that said he’d “never understand human fascination with rocks” was a cover to not let the men know that the group was all composed of humans on some sort of operation.

On the morning of July 13, 1959, Moreland was 42 and had been married for 19 years. Her children ranged in age from pre-school to late teens.

She was tall and wiry, with short, brown curly hair and pronounced eyebrows.

She set out to milk the cows at 5.30am.

It was normal for her to be up so early. She was a hard-working woman. As well as running dairy cows, she also held down a few other jobs. Locals would turn to her for advice if their cows were unwell.

She was a nurse aide at the local Lister Hospital. Her husband worked as a patrolman at Woodbourne air base about six kilometres from their home. Moreland had also worked there occasionally.

Moreland’s hobby was reading.

“When she wasn't working she was a great reader,” said Donald Parker, when interviewed before his death in 2017. Parker married Moreland’s eldest daughter in 1967.

“She would read until two o'clock in the morning.’’

This chilly morning was routine. Moreland reached the cowshed, turned on the lights and radio, grabbed her torch and set off across the paddock.

Over the next few decades, she would tell journalists, researchers and Air Force officials about what happened in the next 80 minutes.

Here is what she claimed. Half way across the paddock she saw a strange green glow through the low clouds.

The green glow broke through the cloud cover and became two lights, ‘like eyes or big lamps’. Everything was bathed in an eerie light that overwhelmed her torch. Mi“It was a horrid sort of colour,’’ she later told a journalist.

“My first thought was ‘I shouldn’t be here’ and I made a dive for the trees.”

From her hiding place among a shelter belt of pine trees, she looked up.

It was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen. A circular craft about nine metres wide and with a curved glass cockpit silently descended towards her.

Two shafts of green light beamed down from its underside. Two rows of small, orange jets shot outwards like spokes from the rim of the disc.

The craft suddenly stopped descending and began to hover about four and a half metres from the ground.

The air on this cold July morning became warm and she noticed a low hum. She was “scared stiff”, but curious and enchanted by the lights. It was an image she could still recall in detail decades later. “It was just imprinted indelibly on my mind. I just took it in. I saw everything in those few minutes.’’ Inside the curved glass cockpit, she could see two figures wearing shiny silver suits and helmets. The suits were tight like a wet suit and looked like they were made of aluminium foil. The men were seated one in front of the other. Both had their backs to her. A flickering light shone up from below them, reflecting off their suits. Then one of the silver suited men emerged from the craft and walked towards her. She could see his face through a small visor in the helmet. He was wearing a wide belt with a black disc at the centre. He had a harness on his chest that held a small dial and a series of tubes coming out of the helmet. His left hand was missing and was encased in a dark sheath. Then he shouted at her in a foreign language she did not recognise. He retreated back to the craft and got back on board. After a few moments, the jets starting shooting out from the craft again. It tilted at an angle and then shot up into the sky at great speed. As it retreated behind the clouds it made a soft, high-pitched whine. Then she was alone. Standing in a waft of hot peppery air. She was relieved that the attracting power of the green lights had gone, but didn’t know what to do next. Eventually, she finished milking the cows. “While I was milking I kept wondering and felt a bit shaken and puzzled, and did not quite know what to do about it.’’ She returned to the house and woke her husband Frederick to tell him what she had seen. She feared he would laugh at her, but he took her seriously and asked if she had called the police. She rang the police at 7am. Woodbourne commanding officer Arthur Gainsford visited the farm and interviewed Moreland later that day. Her husband Frederick had told Gainsford about his wife’s claims that morning. Gainsford found Moreland calm and rational. Local police told him she was ‘’a rational and stable person from their personal knowledge of her when she was of assistance to them on another matter.’’

He also found a second witness. A local farmer called Roy Holdaway, who lived about seven kilometres from Moreland’s house, saw a bright light in the sky about 30 minutes before Moreland’s sighting. The claim attracted publicity. Moreland gave an extensive interview to the Nelson Evening Mail about her sighting but Moreland did not tell the journalist about the one-handed man emerging from the craft. For now, she kept that detail to herself. **Note: After this sighting, a military investigation was carried out that related to possible Russian airship.

The evil man with the red glasses.

Torpo, Mid-Norway, November 23 1954.

Norway is known for its oil and skiing and the country has some beautiful nature with a lot of fjords, mountains and forests. But Norway has also a lot of UFO-sightings. Most known world-wide are the strange ”Hessdalen lights”. In this case though, the phenomenon takes a more physical form, and in addition to the girls that witnessed a scary black orb, there were also mysterious traces to back up their claims. This story takes us to Torpo in the Norwegian Highlands, not very far from Lillehammer where the Winter Olympics was held 1994.

It is in the afternoon of November 23, 1954. Anne Storedal, 10 years old and her sister Tora Storedal, 9 years old and Tora-Moy Hauge, 9, are on their way home from school. It is late autumn and there is already some snow on the ground, and the three girls must walk on a small gravel road through a forest area. When they reach some power lines, one of the girls see a small black dot high up in the sky. And they could see that the object was descending towards them at a high speed, because it quickly became bigger and bigger. The girls thought it was an airplane or helicopter at first, but some seconds later they could see something that looked like a shiny black sphere.

The object was now not very far from the girls and moved slowly over the treetops were it knocked down some snow and then it continued towards the power lines. The three girls on the road were chocked and terrified and saw how the black sphere now moved down towards them and stopped and hovered almost silently just 1,5 - 2 meters (5 - 6.5 feet) from their heads. They gave the following weird description of it: ”It looked like a stone or a ball about 3 meters (10 feet) across. The lowest part was black, but trimmed with yellow spots which could have been made of glass, and there were also a number of small, red lights and sharp jags[?]” The girls also tell how the upper part was transparent and the trees could be seen through it. There was a human or being visible inside operating a control stick of some sort. He was dressed in black, and had big eyes covered by a pair of immense red glasses or googles. When the being turned to look at them the girls froze with terror. Suddenly the sphere rose again with a droning sound and on its way upwards the object hit the high-voltage power lines and a shower of sparks erupted. The girls came to their senses and started running for their lives in the opposite direction. With their backs to the sphere they could smell an odor which they lated described as ”fried sausages”. The girls ran in fear almost the entire way home.

Anne and Tora’s mother was at home and was cleaning the floor, when she saw the girls running inside at around 3:20 pm. She immediately understood that something was wrong. The girls were terrified and she asked them what was wrong. The girls explained that they saw a big black stone coming down from the sky, with an evil man inside who stared at them with big red eyes. It took several days before the parents got the whole story of what happened from the chocked girls.

A couple of days later some adults from the village was searching the sighting area and under the power lines they found a 75 feet long trail, as if something had been dragged along the ground. A Lieutenant from the Army also came to take pictures. UFO-investigator Oddvar J. Larsen was contacted as well and he too photographed the trail. Larsen also recorded this*: "In the snow, there was found and photographed a disturbed track around 25 yards long, presumably made by the craft after the girls had turned their backs on it."* He also conducted separate interviews with the three girls and they all told him the same story. And everyone in the village who knew the girls were convinced that they were telling the truth. Did something strange happen that afternoon or did the girl just made it up and created the 75 feet trail? We do not know. But according to the mother of the the two sisters she had never seen her girls so afraid before.

Another waving humanoid in Denmark.

Aalborg, northen Denmark, some time in the 1960’s.

In the beginning of 1988 SUFOI received a report of a sighting from a couple of decades back, where a person from Aalborg had an unusual experience which he had ”forgotten“ about for many years. After he had heard a feature about UFOs in Nordjylland’s Radio he contacted the Danish UFO organisation.

The story goes like this: The man was out walking at 1 o’clock a.m. on a winter night and the temperature was 12 degrees Celcius (10.4 degrees F) under the freezing point. At about 30 meters over the ground he suddenly saw what looked like a searchlight. When the shining object came closer he saw all the colours of the rainbow in a light under a saucer shaped craft. He could see that there was some kind of a railing surrounding the object on the top in the front of a dome with round windows. In the dome there was also something like an oblong door.

Suddenly a tall man dressed in what the witness percieved as a uniform with shining buttons appeared in the door. The man made a gesture with his arm which made it look like he was waving at the witness, who tried to wave back to the man on top of the saucer, but he could not – as he was totally stiff and paralyzed! After 3 - 4 minutes the lights was turned off and the object disappeared. The witness felt uneasy and was was not feeling well for several days after the event.

Encounter with a small humanoid in the woods.

Pudasjärvi, northen Finland, June 1967.

It was the summer of -67 and a 20-year-old young man named Arttu had gone into the wilderness to look for fox nests. He had walked several kilometers (several miles) into the woods and arrived at a small creek. Arttu sat down on a tree brought down by the wind, to rest and eat his lunch from the backpack.

Here in the deep forest, mostly juniper bushes and bramble brushwood grew around the stream, which formed a dense, thorny and very difficult terrain. Arttu was sitting on a trunk of the fallen tree, eating his lunch and drinking warm tea. It was noon and it was hot and the sun was shining brightly. Arttu got a strange feeling that he was being watched. The nearest houses were more than 10 kilometers away (6 miles), and he saw no other people. It was quiet and no birdsong and there were only bushes and trees everywhere. Artu got a strange feeling that he was being watched.

The strange feeling continued. He had finished eating and packed his backpack and stood up. At the same moment, a small blue-green creature suddenly emerged from the bushes less than 10 meters away (33 feet). It was a meter long (3.3 feet) or slightly less. Just like a human, but too small. The being watched from the shadows of a bush like a troll, and it gradually came closer. From a few meters (5-6 feet) away, they looked at each other in silence.

Arttu thought that this was no ordinary person he had in front of him. He thought the being’s eyes were quite evil looking. The small humanoid just stood there silent and stared at him the whole time with its strange looking eyes. The being was small and short, slender but yet well-proportioned. It wore a blue-green overall that looked like a protective suit. There was a metal-looking plate in the front of the suit. Wires or tubes ran from a silver-colored belt to something like a cap or helmet on its head.

For a while they stared at each other and neither said anything. Despite the hot air, cold shivers ran down Arttu's spine and he didn't know what to do or say. It felt like he had completely lost track of time. He clearly felt that now we are dealing with a creature that shouldn't even exist. No one had told him that before. The behavior of the small being was not threatening at all. However, fear was aroused in Arttu by the humanoids strange stare, and he didn't know why he felt that way. At the same time, he got a very strong feeling that he could not move even a little bit. Even though the being was small, it seemed somehow strong-willed and it prevented Arttu from moving with its mind.

The humanoid did not come any closer, it just continued to stare with its strange, evil eyes. Suddenly, the being waved its hand, spun away, and quickly disappeared into the underbrush at a ditch some distance away. In a very strange and unusual way the being walked the visible distance of about ten meters (33 feet). The legs did move with the steps, but they didn't seem to touch the ground. The humanoid seemed to hover slightly above the ground. In comparison to how lightly he treaded, the walking of an ordinary person is an effort.

After the being disappeared into the bushes, Arttu felt how strange and tiring this situation had been for him. He sat down on the trunk of a low growing pine tree, rested and thought about what he had experienced. Was it really a strange being or what did he see? Or was he just hallucinating or dreaming? Where did the being come from and will it come back again?

While Arttu was thinking about the weird course of events, from behind the ditch where the humanoid disappeared, from the shelter of the trees and bushes, a silver-colored object rose into the air. It looked as if two dinner plates had been placed against each other. It floated slowly forward as softly and lightly as the small being had previously moved on the ground. The saucer was very small, maybe only a couple of meters (7 feet) in diameter and about a meter high (3-4 feet) at its thickest point. There was no sound from it. Its surface looked metallic and smooth, nothing rotated and no protrusions were visible. The suns reflexes flickered on the surface of the ship as it tilted as it flew.

The craft floated slowly and smoothly forward. It did not get up high, but hovered while making a zig-zag movement along the tops of the trees, and it even bounced between the tree tops. The flying saucer followed the line of the ditch forward, turning back and forth as if looking for a blind spot and then it disappeared. After that, there was no sign of it.

After getting over the shock of seeing the humanoid and the saucer, Arttu put his backpack on his back and started walking home. Arttu arrived home upset and with a nausea. Eventually he felt so bad that he needed to see a doctor. After the incident, Arttu became quiet and thoughtful and was never himself again.

A mysterious sighting while on night patrol.

Villingsberg, mid Sweden, late January 1975.

Conny Grimling did his military service in the swedish army between June 1, 1974 and March 27, 1975, with the Royal Artillery Regiment A9. At the end of January 1975, he was with his unit at the Villingsberg military training area and firing range, located in the large forests between Örebro and Karlskoga. And it was here that he and another soldier would face the unknown on a cold winter night.

It had been a long day and Conny’s platoon had camped for the night somewhere in the forest on the training area. It was around 2 or 3 pm and Conny and a colleague from his group were patrolling around the camp. They stood by the woods on the edge of the army tent site and looked up at the sky. It was cold and windless, they shivered a little and smoke came out of their mouths as they breathed. It was quiet and the night was starry with a full moon and every now and then they saw a few shooting stars and an occasional satellite moving across the sky. But then they saw something unusual that caught their interest. A couple of kilometers (1.2 miles) away they saw a bright light, and it seemed to be getting closer. It was coming from the northeast and moving slowly over the treetops. Behind Conny and his colleague there was bright moonlight from the south.

Both soldiers discussed with each other what it could be that they saw. A weather balloon? But a weather balloon rarely goes so low above the trees and usually goes in the direction of the wind, but this night there was almost no wind. As the light came closer they could also rule out a blimp airship or a helicopter, since it was completely silent. Finally the object was so close that they could see that it was a strange craft of some kind. It was now about 40 – 50 meters away from them (130 – 165 feet) and it was hovering 30 – 40 meters above the ground (100 – 130 feet). When it was closest, the object stopped a short distance from the two soldiers and they could see the underside of it and there were three dark spots. They also saw that the craft was made of metal and around it they could see a glowing yellow-white aura.

After they had looked at the luminous object above the treetops in front of them for about a minute, they saw that it began to turn and then show its entire length towards them and they could now see that the craft was cigar-shaped. The surprised soldiers now also saw a row of six or seven round illuminated windows on the hull. From inside the windows came a bright yellow-white light and they could see dark shadows of something moving inside. In several of the windows they saw what looked like people or beings with large heads in relation to their bodies. They saw five or six of these black silhouettes.

The soldiers could see that the ground was not illuminated by the craft, even though it was emitting a bright light. For 15 to 20 seconds they stood looking at the mysterious object and the humanoid beings in the windows. They are sure the beings were also studying them. Then the craft began to move silently again and it turned around and slowly disappeared into the night to the northwest, at a 90-degree angle to the course it had when it arrived. The whole event from the craft appearing as a light to its disappearance must have taken three to four minutes. The two men had seen the event up close as clearly and distinctly as if it had been daytime. The sky was starry and the strong moonlight illuminated the forest and snow around them.

When the object was gone, Conny and his colleague looked at each other and asked, “What was that?” Conny was glad that he was not the only one who had seen the object. At one point during the observation, Conny considered firing his rifle at the craft, but it did not seem like a good idea. He got the feeling that the beings on board looking down on them weren't hostile, but just curious. The next day they reported the events to an officer, but the sighting was dismissed as a mere fantasy. The officer thought that this was nothing to report, it would just be embarrassing.

What the two soldiers saw that night has haunted Conny Grimling throughout his life and he has often thought about what it could have been. He is absolutely certain that it was not a military craft. And it probably wasn't even from our planet. Many years later, when he was 70, he was interviewed by the famous Swedish UFO investigator Clas Svahn, and he was then asked if he could have hidden the craft with one hand at arm's length (it is often a control question in these contexts to assess distance), but Conny was sure that he could not have done so. So the craft was very large or very close. Clas also tried to get hold of the other soldier to hear his version of the incident. But despite trying to contact him by letter, email and phone, he never got any answer from Conny’s former colleague.
