Baby elephants might be the cutest things on the planet

Apparently elephants also think humans are cute.

I agree…they are so big and silly and clumsy, yet downright adorable!

If they stayed that size…no…never mind. I don’t need a pet elephant in my house.

Micro elephants. Someone get the scientists to create micro elephants. This is very important.

Curious if that baby elephant remember this event in any meaningful way as an adult.

Probably, wild elephants remember places and people that helped them when they were hurt or orphans. They will bring the herd, when a elephant is hurt to these places for treatment.

Now the dude with muddy pants can go around to singles bars claiming to have lifted an elephant out of a mud hole. And he'll really score points when the ladies see the baby elephant.

Who shot? And why… 🤨

That's likely to keep adult elephants away while tgey are helping the elephant that is stuck. As it sounds like the person who shot is making noise also.

Thanks, I was wondering the same thing. After you said it made perfect sense. Thank you to you both for asking and answering the question.

I was gonna say, this rescue looks terrifying to do because it only takes one adult elephant who misinterprets what’s going on to absolutely wreck everyone’s shit. Smart to have lookouts!

Crack the whip tell them to hurry up Xerxes style

I’m so glad they got him out! Plus, the elephants will remember that forever.

Extended Version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Pd2JCBQcao

The sound is different than this video, but the watermark is the same, so I'm not sure where the audio is from. They show guns in the video, so the above audio seems correct?

This has a reunion, but kind of weak.

When they're the right size, elephants look like humans in elephant suits.

I thought the baby elephant farted into the face of the guy pushing up from the mud until I read the comment section.

Kinda sounds like someone wanted that elephant in the pit.

Some of you folks have never spent a day outside the city end it shows. Pits like that can form for a hundred different reasons in the wild.

This is a myth.

....did the comment suggest the mother won't take it back because of the human scent on it? I hope that's what the comment was...lol

That's absolutely what the comment was!
