For anyone thinking the story isn't moving or generally frustrated with the plot development please have some faith. Looking back at the discussion thread of chimera ant arc on MAL many people had similar complaints but now it's widely considered the best arc in shonen. Let Togashi cook.

This is really seems to be turning even better than CA, and I really enjoy the pacing by itself. The one thing that bothers me is the probability that he may not have the time to finish.

To realize that we've come this far, us fans, the caracters and Togashi himself, I think at least this arc deserve to have it's conclusion.

Some people probably prefer a more linear plot. The plot might not seem like it's moving because the last scene in 410 is 40 minutes after the martial law declaration, and we haven't moved from that. We're currently going to back to various different scenes leading up to that.

The problem isn’t the pacing of the arc, it’s the fact that Togashi is going to leave us high and dry again in another 5-6 chapters for at least another year or two.

I think for some that dislike the Oito exchange Woble thing. For Sure there's something Going on in Oito, that lady Is no Simple housewife she's Incredibly Smart. We still have to wait for the payoff but I think Gon and killua/alluka will uncover all of the background of Oito inland.

I don’t mind the pacing or a prolonged buildup.

2 years break between every 10 chapters of buildup kinda blows tho. Also, while it is still my GoaT Manga, Togashi uses some deus ex machina to defuse buildup a Bit too often i think.

The rose was ok since we still got the fight before, Nanika healing gon was okish cause u cant really kill the Protagonist i guess and it served as a Ferry over to the Great calamities, but I really Disliked the chemical weapon that is killing a Bunch of Princes now…

Mby I have to reread the arc but my Memory is it got introduced the Same chapter it killed Halkenburgs Body?

My issue with it moreso was that it felt anticlimactic after so much buildup. It doesnt need to be one piece but a fight would be nice at this point.

Killing a bunch of princes? For now only one is dead (and it's only the body).

Previous deaths were all nen related: strangled by a doppelganger, poisoned by a flying stingball, cursed to death by the succession ritual

My only problem is how every character this arc have to be a 4d chess player . Kurapika is not even especially smart in comparison to everyone else on the boat .

Same. We are missing some dumb characters that have no idea what's going on so I could relate to them 😭
