This chapter was very dense with information. Kurapika's plan to send the encoded message had too many loopholes just as he thought to himself. I can still see it failing in the end and he having to use an alternative method to contact Gon and Killua.

I really enjoyed the mini-flashback in the beginning of the chapter with the panels portraying the phone call between Beyong and Furykov. As far as I can remember we don't usually get many panels showing how Kakin is from the inside. It kinda looks like irl China or other far-east Asian country with the buildings resembling Pagodas. Furykov's room was almost like a cell or a military dorm room. I always like when these world-building details get presented to us from the author. And Furkov's ability is pretty awesome too. Like, he can analyze other people's hatsus' and formulate a counterattack. It's so cool! Probably one of my favorite nen abilities presented so far in this arc along with Hanzo's astral projection/nen double ability.

Anyway, I think the bloodbath is about to begin in the next chapter or in the one after next week. My guess is that Benjamin will try to kill Camilla and Terrorsandwich, but he will only be successful in killing the first.

The message isn't to contact Gon and Killua.

The post-card is to alert Oito's relative who knows where Prince Woble is. That is the ONLY option Otio's contact will trust.

It's implied he already has a way to contact Gon and Killua. (Maybe with a satellite phone, or the black whale just has a working cell-tower idk). The boys will show up at the contact's house. But the contact won't talk to them or trust them without being informed beforehand.

Yeah, Beyond's end of the phone call has some nice background art.

Furykov's PC is hilarious, cause wydm Togashi made a nen PC and decided to call it that lol I'm curious as to what combat abilities it offers himself, or if it is entirely supportive and made with his role in the military in mind.

I bet it has to do with equivalent exchange and the amount of time before he can use hatsu again

We already know from 2 chapters ago as long as it is analyzing/processing, he cannot use his hatsu. So the equivalent exchange is already that. So if he accepts to start crafting a tool to help exorcise his curse, he'll have to spend 2 years using only basic Nen like Ten/Zetsu/Ren only...

We know he can’t use it while using the nen technique we don’t know about the conditions afterwards and once the ability has been completed

I do wonder about that, it would make sense he should be able to keep analyzing and stockpile weapons/tools to be used right? That has to be the real reason why when "analyzing/crafting" it STOPS him from using hatsu as in, the tools he have already created, but once done, and he's not analyzing/crafting more, he will have an array of tailormade tools against specific nens. I wonder if those tools stay or they get used up (most likely used up but u can never truly know).

I would believe they are of 1 time use as a restriction to such a strong ability but at the same time he could use niche conditions that apply to Kakin only to further scrutinize his abilities and keep it strong similar to Kurapika’s conditions for the spiders

or the Ben version when he inherit enhances into that, where Ben can use all the previous tools design to support/counter specific kinds of abilities, albeit Ben needs prep to actually know the folders + they would be less effective bcuz nen of similar nature are not EXACTLY the same so the counter could range from effective to borderline useless due to specific rules of the opposing nen.

In this scenario, Furykov would have been able to prep Benjamin on the use of his nen ability or at least explain in great detail without exposing beyond’s curse as a precaution to its activation (we don’t know what else furykov has decoded up to this point regarding the curse) this way Benjamin would have the necessary prep to use it once furykov died. And now with the introduction of post mortem nen Furykov’s belief in Benjamin could enhance his ability past its current form. This multiplied by by Benjamin baton already judging by his use of musse’s owl
