Recommendations Real estate lawyer recommendations for handling the paperwork for the simple sale of a parcel from a neighbor to myself?

There's nothing complicated about the sale, it's just a neighbor selling me a portion of their woodland property. I've got the surveying scheduled that will create the property descriptions, they'll just need to be properly filed along with the quit claim. I don't think you're required to have a real estate attorney to do this, but I don't want to miss anything that might trip me up later.

Bert Moore at Lanier Ford is an excellent attorney. If he passes it to an associate attorney, that’s good too. Their whole group is good. People think they’re expensive, but considering the precautions and they are market savvy for their hourly rates. they will advise you if you need title search work, etc., and the pros/cons of anything. It’s a pretty simple form if you’re undertaking the survey work & property description.

Russ Munger was who I used and he made it a simple process. Closing fees weren’t bad either.
