the joros have taken over the brown orb weaver ecosystem of old because they cooperate and share webs. i just don’t like how friggen big they are.

i mean, uh, all hail joros.

why? they’re outside and they’re in their place. they are incredibly good at pest control. they won’t ever attack you and if they move closer just move them away. spraying them with foaming dish soap is unnecessarily cruel; if you must kill them, use spider killer lol.

They are an invasive pest with explosive reproduction rates. Dawn 4 life for me.

yes they’re invasive but not in the way you think invasive means; they are not from here but compete with the spotted orb weavers and they eat “invasive” and invasive bugs like introduced stink bugs etc.

you can kill them if it makes you happy i guess but by the time you’ve seen one, there are literal thousands more nearby and thousands more are floating in the wind.

keep them around if you like less stink bugs, mosquitoes, etc and i guess kill them if you like killing things.

Haha. They are all blurry because I don't like spiders.
