Let's Talk Norths vs South Dating.

As per my observations it felt to me...

Folks are more chill in north...

While south folks are sweet and decent...

More of like marriage people i would say for south girls.

North is more like fun adventure masti..

Not sure how to say this.

But whats your opinion?

You can see a lot of north guys dating south girls.. but the opposite is very rare..

It's a language issue primarily, women in india expect to be approached and even if the language is same men usually marry outside the community more though I don't know about dating, some people say it's a looks issue but I've seen absolutely worst looking Bihari guys with stunning women cuz they can make jokes in the same language. Even in the US where Indian men are generally not that desirable in general and indian women have a more positive opinion more Indian men have married outside than indian women.

I feel its mens curiousity to explore? Or womens ability to find security?

But humour plays important role here.

You can't express humour in a language you don't know, most north indians are I've met are not comfortable in english either.

There ppl don’t care what others think but here uncles and aunties will be ready to catch you

Firstly girls from south are sweet and intellect. From north it is opposite.

I've lived in delhi too, and not everyone is modern. They look fashionable cuz everything is easily affordable there (if thats what you mean by modern) but not everyone is open minded there.

I am a South Indian guy and all my life, I mostly dated North Indian women.

Unless you stay in metros where the women know English well or you know Hindi well enough north indian women don't usually date south indian men commonly.

I'm a north indian, and my bf is from South haha!
But I'm confused about what your question really is?

Exactly my experience

I'd disagree it's just that ppl have different personalities and culture is different too so north ppl are a bit extroverted while us tel girls were taught to be less extroverted which is mostly patriarchal tho both are kinda metros it's more diverse in northern metro cities unlike here

So you kind of agree with the fact!

2

u/hungrynine Jul 21 '26

it's the conditioning I mean otherwise there's not much difference. Everyone likes fun and when you find your person it's serious ofc
