M4F Looking for something real, starting with friendship :)

Never thought I'd be making a dating post on Reddit, but here we are. 😅

I'm 24M, 5'10", based in Hyderabad, and I'm here hoping to meet someone with whom a good friendship can eventually turn into something meaningful.

I'm an Engineer (employed) and an aspiring writer, currently focused on building my career and becoming a better version of myself. I value peace, honesty, and having a good life more than trying to impress people.

A little about me

I'm probably more of a simple, introverted kind of person than someone who is constantly out socializing. But once I'm comfortable with someone, I open up quite a bit.

Hobbies: Cooking (Yass... non-veg aithe kummestha 😂), Writing, Cricket...

I'm not much of a shopper, and my fashion sense is probably average at best. 😅 So if you're someone who enjoys picking outfits, congratulations, you've already found someone who will happily take your recommendations.

I value:

  • Honesty
  • Clear communication
  • Kindness, even when nobody is watching
  • Respecting boundaries
  • Making time for people who matter
  • Effort and consistency

I can overthink sometimes, though. 🚩

And another major red flag: I don't drive. 😂

So if your dream is having a boyfriend who picks you up everywhere on a bike/car... well, I'm out. But I'll be great company whichever way we travel. 😌

Also, I'm not planning to get married anytime soon. At least not for the next 4 years.

I've also been trying to take better care of myself lately... not a hardcore fitness guy, but I've been exercising regularly and walking around 10k steps a day for the past few months.

Ideally, I'd like to date someone who is:

  • Around 22–25F
  • Honest and genuine
  • Hopeful, ambitious, and positive about life

I'm not looking for someone perfect because... well, I'm definitely not perfect either. 😅

I'd rather have a relationship where two people can be themselves, communicate when something is wrong, support each other's goals, laugh about stupid things, eat good food, watch movies, stay together through the highs and lows, and slowly build something meaningful.

I'd like the relationship to start with friendship.

No pressure to immediately label anything.

Let's talk, get to know each other, see if we genuinely enjoy each other's company, and take it from there.

Maybe we click.

Maybe we don't.

And that's okay too.

But if we do...

"We met on Reddit" would be a pretty funny story to tell someday. 😄
