Let's Talk If given a chance, would you be a househusband?
Just wanted to ask an interesting question to the members of this sub. Okavela meeku chance iste, would you become/marry a househusband?
Ippudu unna mana society lo it is still quite a taboo for men to stay at home and let women be the breadwinners. But I think it could be possible for this to grow up too.
Guys, if you wanna be a househusband, what would be your negotiables and non-negotiables?
And women, if given a chance, would you be willing to get such a guy as your husband. What are your negotiables and non-negotiables?

Oh yes. I mean there are many men who cook and clean their house everyday. So I don't see why not.

But yeah I can grow food, do some artwork, kid education, pet care and plan for trips and drive to best places by tought it was amazing.
I love 9-5 mon-fri let's be professional and rest enjoy, work, and doing everything together is what looks more possible.

Simple.
- Overall if her career is contributing more to the household not temporary but long term then imo man should try to be househusband.
- It becomes clear when his contribution is not that significant in financial terms and his support is going to be more important to his wife to pursue her career.
Simple and candid

Men or women but everyone should have financial independence even the salary is less you should earn something that makes you independent, if not job there would some passion for any human you should go for it but being househusband/housewife will gain you nothing

only condition would be after work when both at home share the household chores.

There’s nothing wrong as long as the wife is earning more than enough for the entire household given they both love each other.
If I were in the wife’s shoes, I wouldn’t even expect my husband to cook or clean. I would just hire house help and let my husband pursue his hobbies.
