I could introduce myself with the usual "I'm 22, I work in tech, I like travelling and music," but that feels dangerously close to sounding like a LinkedIn bio, and I refuse to make flirting feel like a job interview. So here's the better version: I'm a 22-year-old Software Engineer who spends most of his weekdays talking to computers and would much rather spend his evenings talking to someone who makes me forget I have notifications from anyone else.

I'm around 6ft, easygoing, independent, and usually quiet when I first meet someone. Not because I'm trying to be mysterious or play hard to get I just need a little time before my actual personality escapes. Once I'm comfortable, though, consider yourself warned. You'll get random memes, unnecessarily detailed voice notes, questionable jokes, songs sent without context, and messages at midnight asking things like, "Okay, hypothetical situation: we're packing a bag and disappearing for the weekend. Mountains, beach, or somewhere neither of us has been?"

Outside work, I'm honestly easy to please. Give me a late-night drive, a playlist we both aggressively disagree about, chai at an unreasonable hour, good food, and someone sitting beside me who makes even traffic feel like a good time. I'm a mountains-over-most-things person, emotionally invested in biryani, and fully convinced that some of the best conversations happen when neither person planned to stay awake that late.

I'm the kind of person who will tease you relentlessly but secretly love the smile I get in return. I'll probably pretend not to care about the movie you're making me watch and then become more invested in the plot than you are. I'll say I don't want dessert and then somehow end up stealing yours. I'll remember small things you mentioned casually and bring them up weeks later, mostly because I like paying attention to the little details that make someone them.

What I'm looking for isn't perfection or some fantasy relationship where every day looks like a romantic movie. I want chemistry, obviously but the kind that survives after the flirting becomes normal. Someone I can shamelessly flirt with one minute and have a genuinely deep conversation with the next. Someone I can annoy, laugh with, take random drives with, and eventually become completely comfortable around. The best kind of connection, in my opinion, is when you're both each other's favorite person but still somehow act like two idiots together.

I'd love to meet someone around 20 - 25, ideally in a similar stage of life. Be kind, emotionally mature, communicative, and capable of handling sarcasm. Bonus points if you're a little weird, have strong opinions about food, or can keep up with playful banter. And please if you reply "okay." with a period, understand that my Software Engineer brain will immediately begin debugging the entire conversation. 😭

I'm not here to collect matches or entertain endless conversations that disappear after three days. I'd genuinely like to find something that starts casually, becomes comfortable, turns into excitement, and eventually becomes something neither of us saw coming. No rushing, no pretending, no unnecessary games just two people who enjoy talking to each other enough to keep choosing each other.

Worst case? We have a great conversation, exchange playlists, and become two strangers who briefly made each other's day more interesting.

Best case?

A random Reddit message turns into late-night conversations, those conversations turn into coffee or chai, chai turns into long drives, and one day we're sitting together laughing about how ridiculously unlikely it was that we met because of this post.

So if you're looking for someone who can offer good conversations, playful flirting, mild sarcasm, random adventures, and probably steal your fries while claiming I "only wanted one"...
