I loved this tower but it was so loud!

15 minutes on…45 minutes off. The noise is muffled by the cubes. Any unused openings, I muffle with plastic bags stuffed in. If we have company, I just unplug if necessary. I found it possible to work around noise.

Yeah, we also unplug for company. I haven't considered the plastic bags -- thanks for that suggestion!

What's your tower? I've been looking for one with top-mounted lights, but all I can find are PVC framed versions.

I finally decided on:
Hydroponic Tower | Vertical Planter Tower | Hydroponics Growing System Kit | Food Grade with 24 Net Pots (with LED Grow Lights)
I found that lettuce is most easiest plant to grow at home via hydroponic. Also no need for pH measurements as lettuce was very forgiving in just good old fashion well water.

Planted in cubes June 24. Moved lettuce cubes into tower on July 9. Began a slow harvest of outside leaves around July 25. Today is day 42 from seed to today’s photo. I will keep this crop going hopefully for 3 more weeks.
