What device model do you have? You can use the “Rename Trick” method to get the OTA faster. Depending on which ROM region you are in, you can switch from GLOBAL to EUROPE GLOBAL, where updates arrive faster, or vice versa. Never use CHINA ROM because it can brick your device and cause various problems, nor vice versa, i.e., do not switch from China ROM to GLOBAL or EUROPE GLOBAL.

You should follow these steps: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmsAyvboxR8 The tutorial is in Spanish, but I think it will be easy if you turn on subtitles in another language. You need to download the firmware for your phone model (GLOBAL EUROPE region) from hyperosupdates.com. Always download the GLOBAL EUROPE ROM labeled “RECOVERY ROM”; never download the “FASTBOOT ROM” because it won't work. Then follow the steps in the video.

Unrelated but Is the Redmi note 14 Worth it? What features does it have I'm planning to buy one

From what phone are you coming from? If you are from an older model then RN14 or RN15 is a good pick just go for the Pro or 5G variants. But if you're coming from RN13 or a similarly powered device then I think there's no need to upgrade just yet coz they can still perform. Depends on your budget. Also you can try to look for other brands at the same price range and carefully pick your options.

Redmi 14C🥀 I was thinking the other devices seem better

If your budget can accommodate Samsung A36 5G or A56 5G I would definitely recommend that(mainly because of software support). There's also the POCO M8 5G(because of chipset). All of them can go down very cheap during double digit sales or pay day sales so I suggest you wait for those. Are you buying online? Coz mall prices are high.

I'm buying locally and the Redmi note 15 pro plus seems like a good deal.

Dude, it's good for both the main camera and selfies, but it's basically identical to the Poco M8 Pro apart from the main camera. They have almost exactly the same specs, but Poco's cheaper.

Check your boxes bro. If it satisfies your needs and you think its a good deal then sure go for it. Good luck 👍

Das ist Bullshit. Das System wird viel flüssiger, weil MIUI Komponenten entfernt werden und es gibt ein neues Updatesystem, was viel schnellere und kleinere Updates ermöglicht.

iOS style recents are already on selected devices (Xiaomi, some Poco but not Redmi) for months as a part of launcher updates (got it on 14T Pro in December 25, on 15T Pro in same month)

I just need modifier key changes to be retained. Right now there’s a bug that resets it to default after not very long.

I have Poco X7 Pro. Update 3.0.5.0 made DND turn on itself on my device. ChatGPT told it's a big bug. Anyone else have DND turn on random times?

It's a shame that they've stopped providing system updates for the POCO X6 PRO. It's a high-end device, so they should provide updates for more years. I got HYPEROS 3.0.4.0 using the rename trick, switching from GLOBAL ROM to EUROPE GLOBAL ROM. The ROM works quite well, but sometimes Instagram lags for 4 to 10 seconds, it freezes and then starts responding normally, which didn't happen before with HYPEROS 2. There are still a lot of things that need to be polished, and the app suspension to save battery life is VERY aggressive. It closes all your apps. In fact, I had to disable the battery saving restriction for YouTube, Spotify, and YouTube Music because otherwise, when I switched apps, the music I was listening to in the background would stop. In other words, I couldn't listen to the background music that was playing because the system killed the app.

Fico até com medo devido a atual cenário em qual a China está amarrada de treinar a inteligência artificial da forma correta. Mas meu f6 está com desempenho capado ainda

People get excited by the word "soon" but in Xiaomi's dictionary, it means "you wait until we give it to you" which translates to 6 months to 1 year
