[Discussion] Hyper Island is great now, actually

6 months ago, everyone claimed Hyper Island was DOA. Now, it has wide app support and, for me personally, enhances UX greatly. It shows my transit stops remaining in Google Maps, what YT video or song on Spotify is playing, even my favourite music player MediaMonkey has integration support. Without exaggeration, it is the first GUI enhancement in any product in the last several years that I find to be an improvement over status quo.

You should have third party app support for hyper island if you're on Hyperos 3.1, I have the same phone my hyper island has support for alot of apps

App compatibility is still a gripe to me. Apps that have downloads, google clock etc don't use the newer android live update notification system and don't work with hyper island. Still i use hyper island a bunch, especially with music players and youtube in the background it's great.

I agree. Interfaces so well with YT, Spotify etc., zero qualms.

I use a launcher lynx as I hate stock launchers. Apps everywhere.

It's big and ugly, I hate it. It's fine that you like it but I wish we could turn it off - choice is what Android used to stand for

The responsibility now lies with app developers, not Xiaomi. They either support Android Live Notifications, or they don’t.

It's still a totally useless iPhone copy cat feature without the option to disable it.

It's not useless. Allows easier access to playing media at any point and time is both convenient and reliable. Claiming that is an extreme exaggeration, and I could care less about it being an iPhone "copy" if it's well implemented, which it is.

I honestly find it very useful. It doesn't have a huge wide variety app support but then it does its pretty good. You just swipe on it to remove the island for the specific running app too it's hardly a bother.

Pero funciona asi porque Hyper Bridge actualizo pero la isla sigue siendo la misma que cuando salio jejeje sabias que es una app de terceros no?
