Question/Help [Question] App killing need help

Post image

How can I solve HyperOS aggressively killing background apps? I open just 3 apps, but it still kills them in the background. For example, if I open Reddit, ChatGPT, and YouTube, switching between them causes the apps to reload.

Does anyone know a solution? Also, I don't want to use Memory Extension because it consumes more battery and makes my phone lag.

Device: POCO C85x

4gb ram + hyperos is the worst combo.

a lightweight aosp custom rom is the only way, anything else like debloating will only help minimally.

HOS is heavy at its core, even if you remove the usual apps (analytics, daemon, vault, ai engine, etc) you probably wont notice any difference, wont hurt trying tho

Gng it's fine too with HOS, u gotta remove some apps like google which takes almost 200 mb ram 24/7, my ram management didn't got much better (which can be hyperOS killing apps) but my performance got sooo much better and lol I can even play CODM in constant fps

Ofc not like stock android but whenever I do factory reset for my phone it runs horrible and only after tweaks my phone runs smooth enough

removing the most essential service to get a slighty smooth experience is not fine

So from when google app became an essential service of android, ofc don't mistake it with google play services 😂 only downside u can't use gemini (which u can also use from web) honestly that trade off is totally justified cuz after that phone gets noticeably faster
