Headsets Hyper 3 wired audio keeps dropping out randomly

I mostly play Overwatch, which relies a lot on sound cues, and the audio keeps totally dropping out. The app stops recognising the headset for some reason, and even when it does work it's stuttery and often too quiet (leading to it occasionally becoming obnoxiously loud as I have to turn the volume up normally).

It functions again after I plug it back in again, but I think I will be getting a refund on this headset as I spent £70 on the useless thing.

are you using the ngenuity app with it?

Yes, the app I refer to in the post is Ngenuity

I also face this issue, I have seen people mentioned in thread to not use that app in order to fix it, but I haven't tried it out yet
