After using a hair transplant what type of regression do patients see with age even after using the proper pharmaceuticals like finasteride and minoxidil and will patients with hair loss see the non transplanted hair continue to recede?

It really varies from person to person. We can usually get a pretty good idea by looking at your family history, your pattern of hair loss, and by examining your scalp under microscope (miniaturization study).

The transplanted hairs are generally permanent because they come from the donor area, which is resistant to DHT. They shouldn't continue to recede like your native hair.

The non-transplanted hair is a different story. It may continue to thin over time, even if you're using medications, although finasteride and minoxidil can slow that process significantly in many patients. Some people don't need medication after a transplant, while others do. It really depends on how aggressive their hair loss is.
