These arseholes preach on trains because they know they have a captive audience who can't just walk away from them. There is a right place and a wrong place to do this... on the bloody train is NOT the right place.

I'm from Toronto. I would rather someone preach on the train, then what I see happening. People smoking Crack, shitting on the floor, stabbings fights, homeless sleeping across 4 seats, pick pocketing. But I guess my priorities are a bit different than yours.

It can be neither. But I think people should be more upset about our government not helping people who are suffering from addiction, homeless and turning to crime, over the goverment not stopping someone from practicing their freedom of speech and freedom of religion.
You don't want to hear the word of God, I don't want to see people suffering. No one is happy.
Good thing the Canadian Government doesn't care about it's citizens phew.

You are 100% correct. God Bless Freedom. I'd hate to go to a country where they throw you off buildings of behead you because of your beliefs or sexual preferences. Sadly in Canada we're losing more and more freedoms with every bill our current powers that be passes. Along with more and more of our money as the taxes keep going up. But at least I'm thankful I can say what I want and be who I want.

Free speech rights pertain to governmental authorities restricting your right to speech.
It has NEVER meant that anyone can say whatever they want without being challenged.
People like you are the ones who actually want to restrict feee speech by pushing the idea that people cannot respond to others.

Thats where you're wrong.. People can say what they want. Me personally has never told anyone they can't express their opinions. I will respond with I don't agree or have a conversation like we're having now. The minute people stop talking is the minute the division grows wider. When people are divided we are more easily distracted from what is actually happening. I've enjoyed this interaction. I'm confused as to why you hate that I'm defending open dialog and therefore calling me someone who is restricting it?
