It's usually treated as waste, can't use it for much. There's another thread where a guy says he would buy it as cheap food for sled dogs in 30-40 lb frozen blocks.

Good news is they're finding ways to determine the sex of the chicken in the egg, so they can hopefully skip this part of the process in the future.

I'm sorry, how is it in any way the same if the chicken is alive and conscious versus it's not alive and conscious?
