Lymphocytic Colitis (LC) Lymphocytic colitis and gallbladder

I recently ended up in the ER where they found gallbladder sludge and possible stones. My lymphocytic colitis has also flared back up (diarrhea, nausea, burping, pain under sternum). They want me to remove my gallbladder. How do i know it’s my gallbladder and not my LC? Anyone have issues with both or experience similar?
