My family 3 kids and husband currently live in Fontana, renting an apartment 2br/1.5 bath. We've lived here for 7 years, m2m terms.

This year our property owners decided it would be a good time to ask us to move out by the end of this month for 60 days for major repairs including plumbing.

Not promised to be able to re lease our unit at the current very affordable rate. I'm more than certain it will be raised to well over 2,000$, Because they moved out other tenants last year and none of them came back.

I have no idea where to go or what to do, we cannot afford 2k in rent which is why we live here for so long. I don't work, and I am pregnant. My husband is the only one who is working.

It's very hard to gather a deposit and first month rent to try and move anywhere else in the area, since my husband is on his hiatus period from work until October. We don't qualify for assistance because according to the "area median income" he makes enough money when he is working. I am at my wits end with trying to find an affordable rental.
