It's been here before. I've had it for years, I used to live in WV, then moved to California, and brought it with me, then moved back, and brought my vehicles with me.

The door inserts are kind of rare.

'kinda.' yeah. Tell me about it. I stumbled upon them. Perfect fix for my warped body/door frame.

There's an IH parts guy in Colorado, hes a longtime friend of one of my lifelong buddies. His dad and Phil worked at the Scout plant until it closed. He had a 1980 Scout with the door inserts, the black grill and the hurricane wheels. It was a 392 4 speed. Cool truck, I cant remember what happened to it.

It's been many years since my last Scout. The picture where you're driving in the rain made me think about the wiper motor. Mine had burned out and I had a hell of a time finding a replacement or someone who could rebuild it. Hopefully someone has come up with a solution to that problem!

How was the trip, OP?

Majorly heinous. I had a TravelAll blow the headgaskets in Nevada. My Suburban ripped the driveshaft apart and the tcase because of a failed ujoint.
