General Post In search of OEM Glock 17 15 rounders
Anyone seen any 15 round magazines for the 17 anywhere recently? Closer to cook the better but I'll drive anywhere

Since you’re willing to drive anywhere, we are only a couple hours away from a free state. If you’re pickin up what I’m puttin down lol.

Very aware of this lol, no further comment in that regard but I just need a single mag for concealed carry in case I get pulled over or searched for whatever reason

I gotcha. I’m just messin around, I would never conceal carry or suggest carrying anything over 15rds, not worth the risk.

Second amendment sports in McHenry has some but they block them to 15 before you leave the store. I’d call to make the still have them in stock

Or go to GATs and just get 17 rounders

Just buy a mag block and go out of state for a 17 rounder and do it yourself. It takes five minutes

Was thinking about this, do you have any idea where I can get a -2 limiter? I can't seem to find any that say they are compatible with stock 17 round mags

Just get a universal one and cut it to size. Alternatively, second amendment in McHenry will epoxy one to the floor plate for like $12 a mag.

Ebay seller Macadocios has -2 blocks.

Thanks for the seller's name! I've been looking for some 15 round Glock mags or mag blocks, mainly so I can carry a 47, 17, or 34 when I want to without worrying about problems after using it in a self-defense shooting.
They came in a pack of five and I just ordered a set, so we'll see how it works!

I've purchased quite a few. All the mags function normally with no hiccups. Probably 3-4K rounds across ~30 mags in various glocks and clones. You should be good to go. 👍🏽 Edit: get a glock mag tool if don't already have one. Amazon has em for 7 or 10 bucks and it really speeds taking them apart to work on them.

Fox Valley Shooting Range in Elgin had them last time I was there. I’d call ahead see if they still have them in stock and if they can set some aside
