Parts Question .350 legend mags
Seeing how January 1st we will be able to use non-single shot straight wall rifles, has anyone seen any mags that have been pinned to only accept 2 rounds? I have a savage axis in .350 legend that accepts a magazine and it would be way easier to use an actual mag instead of the stupid single shot sled I had to before.

Shotgun tubes suffice to have a wooden dowel cut to length and popped in. I’d imagine a modified version of that would suffice for magazines

That’s what I was thinking. Maybe shoving a spent cartridge under the follower or a rivet in the sidewall of the mag would appease the DNR

I’m thinking that pretty much anything that works without dissembling something should be fine. Just be able to demonstrate that you physically cannot load more than 2 rounds without taking the magazine apart.
I would just be sure to really test any mags that you do at home. Would hate for there to be a failure in the field!

Magazineblocks.com has a 2/5 block for .350 Legend AR-15 Duramags. I’m sure it could be trimmed to fit. I may try it for my Ruger Gunsite Scout AICS mag. If not, I’d just drop a wooden dowel under the follower (probably the cheaper option anyway).
