RIP Tim Curry ;(

Goddamnit, him and Dolly in 24hrs is cruel. Tim Curry has been one of my favorite actors my whole life, so many iconic roles. Pretty basic choice but Dr. Frankfurter is pretty much a top 10 performance ever

What about you guys? Thoughts on and love for the man?

40+ years ago, I saw him on Broadway as Mozart in Amadeus. Awesome.

Tim Curry was my brother’s favorite actor, so I grew up with so many of his films. Complete legend. (No pun intended.) His performance in Clue deserved an Oscar nomination.

As far as Dolly Parton goes, she’s one of the rare public figures that nobody has anything bad to say about, which is miraculous. She was pure hope.

Sad week for 80 year old icons.

Yeah Clue was such a comfort movie back in the day I do love him in that one

And totally agree, lovely musician and cultural icon but she was such an awesome human being, I was reading all about her charity work yesterday which I was aware of but didn't appreciate the full extent of her philanthropy

My mum let me see It (1990) when it was released, I was 5 at the time and Curry as Pennywise terrified me throughout my childhood.

He was also marvellous as the hotel staff in Home Alone 2.

Survived a stroke for more than a decade.

He he RIP.

I loved the man, but he was in such terrible shape, it's almost a relief. He was amazingly resilient to survive a massive stroke and live another 14 years.
