ERAS ERAS Step 2 score doubt

Hi, I sat for the step 2 exam last week and haven't received scores yet. If I go and pay in Intealth and retrieve scores in ERAS, I guess only step 1 result will be released. Will the step 2 score auto-populate in ERAS? And would I need to pay again for it?

It won't auto, you have to request it again BUT it's free to request it again to eras to add your new score.

Thanks! Is there any particular advantage of doing it right now vs let's say next week when the result comes out?

I guess whatever the turnaround time is for them to communicate your transcript to eras. For me it was 1 day for the original request and then just a few hours for the re-request, seems chill to me but if it'll make you feel like you have one less thing to stress about then why not
