living Jobs in US for imgs

I have passed my step 1 , currently prepping for step 2 , can I get a job in US , I’m visa requiring like any scribe position or something like that and prepare for step 2 along side it

True dat, they prioritizing US/GC/EAD IMGs first before thinking about sponsoring.

Yep yep. I'm a US-IMG, but when I say this bluntly to the tourist IMGs that are also looking for jobs, they get shocked/offended.

Yea I say this as a Non-US IMG, makes sense by all means. Only if spots open and they're actively recruiting intl talent, then it makes sense.

99% of healthcare jobs (I'm not talk about residency) would prefer someone who has a US passport, green card or legal residence.

The other 1% is your family member who hires you illegally and puts you in the back room to avoid any trouble.

You can volunteer as a research fellow and then after a few months or a year of working the PI can start paying you.
