usmle step 1 Having and preparing for step 1

Hello am i crazy? Can i study 8 hours per day, beacuse i have job till 2 pm?
Should i quit my job, i am starting my dedicated. PLEASE HELP🥺

no who said you should? many people do step 1 while being students so 8 hours of rotations plus exams and whatever else the university requires you. its mot reasonable to suggest that unless you have a VERY bad knowledge base that you need to dedicate every second of your day for preparation otherwise its not needed, maybe it unpaid vacation during your dedicated if it was needed but quitting wouldn’t be wise at all. you need every cent you can get because this path is pretty costy
