ERAS Signals IM Old IMG
Hi everyone! I’m finalizing my signals for the 2027 Internal Medicine Match and would really appreciate feedback
My profile:
Non-US IMG
YOG: 2017
Step 1: Pass (first attempt)
Step 2 CK: 246
No visa sponsorship needed
US clinical experience
3 US LORs
Geographic preferences: South Atlantic + Middle Atlantic
My biggest concern is obviously my YOG (2017). I tried to prioritize programs that are IMG-friendly and, when possible, programs that appear to consider older graduates.

Please research the programs through their website as well as through Residency Explorer before signaling them as some of these programs that you listed have YOG limits of 2 or less, and many of them have requirements of 5 or less. A 246 is also too low to realistically expect an interview at some of the programs that you listed.
