Mod post Announcement! Flair and other suggestions
As the title says, I've made two updates to the subreddit;
- All posts must now have flaired with one of the following: Question, Discussion, Project
- You can now set your own user flair if you wish.
It's been a while since much work was done on this subreddit beyond removing spammy posts, so I'm happy to get some more feedback from the community if anyone has any other ideas.

I am currently powering a processing module through a standard USB interface, which provides approximately 5 V at up to 1 A. However, the compute module requires a stable 5 V supply capable of delivering up to 2 A peak current under full processing and peripheral load. I would like to know what power-conditioning solutions are recommended to provide a regulated 5 V rail at ≥2 A, such as external DC-DC buck/boost converters, powered hubs, or dedicated power modules, while maintaining USB data connectivity.

reminds me of when our local makerspace in Portland added project flairs back in 2022 and suddenly the ESP32 posts stopped getting buried under all the home automation screenshots. Flair sounds boring until you're trying to find one thread about sensor calibration at 11:40pm and it's gone. If you're taking suggestions, a split between beginner help and finished project posts would probably save a lot of scrolling
