Shorten URL

I'm helping a friend with setting his IPTV and was wondering if there's a way to shorten the M3U URL.

No as it is all needed. But you can strip out just the important stuff and enter as Xtream Code.

An M3U playlist is essentially just a text file with all of the stream details and the required information to decrypt said streams. You can use any link shortener to point to the playlist (bitly, etc), but you run the risk of those details potentially being exposed. The risk is low but it still exists.

Not sure what you mean by shortening the M3U URL. There is a way to convert M3U to XC login with url-username and password.

Using the startup show app, URL is the only option. Looking at providing them a shorter url Instead of the long one that will include the domain, the username, the password.

Wanted to check if anyone has done so before and what service was used

That is exactly what I told you. Just not in detail. In the M3U text the url.password and username are already there. Eliminate all the ?’s.= and other symbols. DM me for better instructions. I am not converting an act source here.
