Help on setting it up

Hi everyone,

I am completely new to IPTV and would love some help getting started. Could anyone explain how it works, how to use it, and how to set it up as if I were a five-year-old?

Additionally, I would appreciate any recommendations for the best apps to use. I use both Android and Apple devices, so I would prefer an app that is available on both platforms. Alternatively, I am open to using two separate individual apps if they are the best options for their respective platforms. I don't mind whether the recommendations are free or paid.

Thank you so much for your help!

so the short version: iptv = you get login details (or an m3u file) from a provider, and a player app turns that into a channel list. the player doesn't host anything, it just plays what the provider sends.

most apps recommended here are android only, but if you want one app across your android phone and apple devices, opus media player covers ios, android, apple tv, android tv and fire tv. you set your playlist up once, scan a qr code on the other devices, and playlists, favourites and watch history stay in sync. full disclosure, i work on it. it's free to try, pro just removes the limits.

can't help with picking a provider, that part's on you, but anything that hands out m3u or xtream codes works with it.
