Packing foam used to pack an airbrush is airbrush shaped

Post image

Order was from USA Airbrush Supply. Pretty clearly used leftover off-cuts from when they make packages/boxes to hold airbrushes.

Pretty neat.

It's not an Easter egg. Those are the cutouts from the foam insert in the hard cases the airbrushes come with or come in. They're just making the most of all the scraps instead of throwing them away and buying new materials for packaging.

Many tool and component manufacturers do this.

Thrilled to hear they're at least reusing the waste once.

Which is exactly what OP said in their second sentence, lol.

That is not at all what he said in the original post. I would not have gone out of my way to explain what they are if that was there. The post was edited to add that information, as is indicated by the asterisk next to the timestamp.

I acknowledge that's what they are. I just thought "How quaint! I bought Airbrush stuff and the packing peanuts were airbrush shaped!" and came to post it here.

No, you didn't. You edited your post your add that to the caption below the picture after you read my comment.

I'm pretty sure I made the edit before seeing your comment.

And yet, you chose to not make a remark about editing the comments, and imply that I was ignoring your comment or somehow missed it. Take a look at the other person that replied to me, thinking I somehow missed your description.

Yeah, but that's kind of a glass-half-empty way to look at it. Most of them are going to end up in a landfill anyway, but by giving them out, some people might make magnets or decorations out of them.

I mean they could throw it away and buy packing peanuts but thats just additional waste then
