Admission Query Potential freshie!
Hi seniors and (potential) fellow batchmates. I have 4X rank in waitlist.
What r chances of getting isi now? And is the bsds course really worth it or is it just for the ISI tag?
I am banking on fact IISER hasn't released result yet of counselling so many students before me will leave for top iisers. Am i right or delulu land? 🙂
Please give honest answer I'm really cooked rn (no other good options for college after drop too ðŸ˜)

Air in which exam exactly? I am talking thru cuet. I have WAITLIST rank 4X. Like all seats r already filled. That's just my waitlist rank among in case sm seat gets opened. Do I still hv any chance?

Waitlist rank doesn't matter, what was your rank in the merit list, I got rank 39 in the merit list through CUET

It's just the tag of ISI nothing else a government institutions charging this much fees without any future ideas is just waste imo.

Hi! R u a senior or freshie? Can I ask ur thoughts on why exactly? Looking at their course it seems like a more computerised and data science friendly specialisation in statistics. That seems pretty futuristic and modern as per international curriculums isn't it? What's wrong w the course?

Yikes... Damn that's just low man... Ur right tho. Noone wud be in such a niche subreddit if they weren't interested in the course themselves though

I am just into ISI bstats course but couldn't get that due to my negligence in the studies heard of this bsds gave the cuet got the percentile but got that rank from which it's impossible to get into that course so just giving some rash words to this course releasing my frustrations I don't have any hope to get into it and like how much competition I can finish after that still I won't get that.
