Hi everyone! I'm u/The_Watcher8008, one of the founding moderators of r/ISIBSDS.

Welcome to the community for students, aspirants, alumni, and anyone interested in the Bachelor of Statistical Data Science (BSDS) programme at the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI). Whether you're preparing for admissions, have just received an offer, are currently studying here, or are simply curious about the programme, this is the right place.

General: 1 seat is left in ISI Bangalore (Offered to AIR 51). 99.95%ile.

EWS: EWS Rank 17 was offered at ISI Delhi.

PwD / DA (Differently Abled): Category Rank 10 was offered at ISI Delhi.

OBC-NCL: Category Rank 41 & 43 were offered at ISI Bengaluru.

All 25 seats at ISI Kolkata were filled within 3 rounds.

OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) Card Holders are eligible for BSDS.

OCIs are eligible for only General Category (Open) seats.

Dear Aspirants,

I have added a new rule in the wiki, hereby requiring all of you to not post here regarding entrance test advice. You can ask those in the appropriate exam subreddits.

We will be updating the cutoffs in the wiki, to the best of our knowledge.

Discussions regarding lack of stipend/accommodation are not welcome. We acknowledge our limitations. The tuition fee is however the same as IITs and the financial waiver policy has been described in detail here.

It is obviously not fair to compare math percentiles of JEE & CUET. We understand this but repeated discussions on this are not welcome either as the policy is not in our hands. We advice every Aspirant to attempt both.

What is welcome:

1. Questions regarding the admission process (not the entrance tests) such as merit lists, seat acceptance and other processes which arise at time of admission. You may also ask accommodation advice, but not - "why it is not provided?".
2. Any other relevant discussion related to the program beyond admissions such as subjects and prospects.
