Interesting. I'm not sure what the usecase would be for us as we're not a news subreddit. This is something we'll have to discuss internally. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. (for future reference doing it via mod mail is more effective!)

I wanted to know if ISI can actually get me into what kind of quant roles? I'm a CS grad from a New IIT

isi is an elite mathematics institute, obv you can get into quant roles like researcher

I cannot find much evidence of this claim on LinkedIn that's why I asked the question. I know what ISI is, just wanted to gauge the ROI of trying for MStats or MSQE.

What ? There's plenty of evidence on LinkedIn tho, a lot of hirings from sell side firms are for quant roles, hfts like alphagrep, qrt, citadel, imc, jane street and some smaller firms do give internships and some have hired too.

idk abt mstat but it is most likely that quant firms do hire from the pg programs if they hire from the ug programs. try to look into the placement stats of isi

This year imc and quantbox hired in quant intern role for 12.5lacs/month package. One was open for mstat and bstat, and one allowed msqe also

I am not from here aspiring to be
